The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) offers admission to the MBA programmes through its own entrance examination known as the XIM General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT). XIMB MBA Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The minimum requirements for XIMB MBA admissions 2024 are as follows:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline that has been obtained over a span of three years.
Candidates are required to score at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Candidates may also apply if they plan to finish their degree exams by June 2024. If admission offers are made to such students, they will be provisional and will be automatically withdrawn if they fail to satisfy all degree requirements by June 2024.
The MBA programme does not require prior work experience (s). After graduation, relevant work experience will be beneficial though.
For XIMB MBA-BM Admission 2024, the applicants must appear for and qualify for one of the entrance exams taken between January 1 and December 31, 2023-24, like CAT 2023, XAT 2024, X-GMT 2024, and GMAT.
To be eligible for Executive MBA programme(s), candidates must have 3+ years of relevant work experience after graduation.
Eligibility Criteria for XIMB Executive MBA Admission 2024
The minimum requirements for admission to XIMB Executive MBA are:
Candidates are required to complete a three-year Bachelor's degree programme (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
It is mandatory for the applicants to have at least three years of professional experience (as of July 01, 2024) in the public, private, or non-governmental sector at the executive level in a recognized organization. Self-employed individuals become eligible to apply for XIMB Executive MBA admission 2024 after they obtain a minimum of 5 years of working experience after completing their bachelor’s degree programme.
The minimum age of the applicants must be 23 years as of July 01, 2024.
Candidates must furnish Sponsorship or No Objection Certificates from their employers for pursuing the EMBA programme at XIM University.
XIMB MBA Admission 2024: Accepted Entrance Exams
Candidates aspiring to apply for the XIMB MBA Admission 2024 are required to qualify for any one of the following entrance exams:
XAT 2024, which is scheduled on January 7, 2024, by XLRI Jamshedpur, or
CAT 2023, which will be conducted by IIM Lucknow on November 26, 2023, or
GMAT taken in 2023 or 2024, or

XIM General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT)
It is the MBA entrance exam for XIM University. Although the XGMT exam at XIM Bhubaneswar is not mandatory, it is the only way to qualify for MBA admission at XIMB and other management colleges affiliated with XIM University Bhubaneswar if you have not taken the CAT, XAT, NMAT, or GMAT. The difficulty level of the XGMT exam is moderate.
The XGMT exam consists of 4 sections with MCQ type questions: Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Data Interpretation (DI), Emotional Quotient, and General Awareness (EQ & GA). 3 Marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
