NLU Delhi is offering 24 and 15 seats respectively for AILET 2025 BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses for OBC category candidates. You can check the detailed AILET 2025 seat matrix on its website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The allotment list for Round 1 was released on December 27, 2024. Candidates whose names appear on the 1st provisional merit list have to pay the required charges within the deadline. Applicants whose names are on the category-wise list issued after the results will be qualified to register for the AILET 2025 counselling process . Those who complete the registration for the counselling process will be considered for seat allocation.

The seats will be allocated based on the rank received by the candidates in AILET 2025 . The vacant seats after offering to the OBC candidates will be given to the General category students. NLU Delhi conducts the AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) to offer BA LLB and LLM to deserving candidates. AILET 2025 Seat Reservation Criteria for OBC Category

The AILET test-takers need to keep in mind some important points related to the AILET 2025 seat reservation criteria for OBC category candidates.

  • OBCs (Non-Creamy Layers) make up 22% of the AILET seats.
  • Those who have applied under the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) will be eligible only if they have proper certification issued by a government agency that is listed on either a central list or a state list (both of which have been notified by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi).
  • A proper administration must have issued the OBC non-creamy layer certificate after January 1, 2024.

AILET 2025 Seat Allotment Guidelines

Take a look at the AILET 2025 seat allotment guidelines for the OBC category.

  • During provisional admission, the applicants need to submit the appropriate original OBC certificate(s).
  • Keep in mind that provisional admission will not be provided without the OBC certificate from the appropriate authority.
  • The OBC certificate should be in the name of the AILET candidate. The candidates whose certificates are in the name of the candidate's parents/ guardians/ spouse or any other family members, etc., will not be accepted.
  • The candidate's sole responsibility is to confirm their eligibility for reservation under the OBC category.
  • The aspirants looking for reservation under the OBC category would be asked to present original certificates during provisional admission and document verification round.
  • Seats reserved for OBC would be converted to the General Category only if no suitable candidates are present in the merit list of the OBC category.
  • The unfilled seats will be given to the General category if no more OBC candidates are left to offer seats.
  • A horizontal reservation of 30% of the total seats should be filled by eligible women candidates, including those chosen in the reserved category.
  • The allotment lists will be released now as the counselling registration is complete.
  • The selected candidates will be notified by the University through email and posting the results on the university's website.
  • The eligible candidates need to complete the admission within a given time limit.
  • The same approach will be followed for the waitlist candidates otherwise the admission will be cancelled.
  • NLU Delhi will release a category-wise list of the candidates who have enrolled for counselling.
  • The candidates can pay the AILET 2025 counselling fee through the official website.
  • After the confirmation of the counselling fee payment, the seats will be reserved for the specific students.
  • The AILET seat allotment list contains the applicant’s name, admit card number, rank and category.
  • The admission authorities will not entertain any requests for fee payment after the deadline.
  • The eligible ones are suggested to complete the payment before the last date to avoid any difficulties.
