About Nirma University
Nirma University is a private university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was established in 2003 and is accredited by the NBA and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In 2003, the Gujarat government approved the NERF's plan to establish Nirma University Ahmedabad. As a result, the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly passed a special Act to establish Nirma University. Under Section 2 (f) of the University Grants Commission Act, the university was officially acknowledged. In the NIRF Ranking 2023 the university was placed at the 27th position in the law category, 22nd in architecture, 37th in the pharmacy category and 61st in the management category.
Nirma University courses include 10 degree programmes which include engineering, commerce, pharmacy, management, design, architecture, law and science. Nirma University offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and diploma levels. Some of the popular degrees offered by the university include B.Tech, B.Des, MBA, B.Pharma, BA LLB, B.Arch, BS among others. The admission process for Nirma University is based on entrance exams like JEE Main, GUJCET, CLAT, CAT depending on the course. The university also conducts its own entrance examinations at the PhD level. With respect to the placements offered by the university, the highest package offered for the B.Tech course is Rs 50.15 LPA and for the MBA course is 30 LPA in 2023. Nirma University offers a total of 19 degree programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Nirma University fees range between Rs 46,000 - Rs 5,42,000 per year. Nirma University admission is based on entrance exam scores. All the Nirma University courses is offered in the regular mode. JEE Main, GUJCET, NATA, CLAT, IPMAT, GATE scores among others are accepted based on the courses opted by candidates. Nirma University Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
- Infrastructure: Nirma University has a 115 acre campus and offers a variety of facilities, such as large seminar halls and auditoriums with different seating capacities, amphitheatre classrooms with multimedia and audio-visual equipment, and cutting-edge labs with the newest apparatuses and studios.
- Library: The university has separate library for each building. All the libraries in the Nirma Universiity campus are connected digitally. Students have 24/7 access to all the resources through a remote login facility.
- Sports Facilities: The university has a well-equipped gymnasium. Other sports facilities include a ground for cricket, football and kho-kho, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and basketball courts.
- Hostels: Nirma University postgraduate students have access to separate hostel facilities for boys and girls at the university. There are three hostel buildings in all, with two for males and one for female students. The university hostel can accommodate approximately 800 students. The hostel rooms are large and comfortable. Sports and other recreational facilities, such as cable TV and a common space for interaction, are available at the hostels. All hostel rooms provide round-the-clock internet access. A new ladies' dormitory with about 1100 beds was inaugurated in June 2023.
- Medical and Transport Facilities: The University operates a fleet of 43 buses overall. Among them, 20 buses are owned and operated by the University that serve in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Moreover, these buses go through the city on 20 distinct routes.

Nirma University Scholarships
Nirma University offers a range of scholarships to eligible candidates. To be able to avail the scholarships and financial aid, candidates have to apply online through the university's official website. Some of the popular Nirma University scholarships include:
- Merit Scholarships: Top 5 students admitted in the Institute of Pharmacy should be given the full tuition fee as scholarship.
- Merit-cum Means Scholarship: 5 students will be given the full tuition fee as the scholarship amount if his/her parents income is Rs 2,50,000 or less in a year. This scholarship will be given to the top 50 students. Another 5 students will be given a scholarship of an amount of Rs 50,000 per annum if their parents income is Rs 4,00,000 or less per annum, provided his/her merit is within the first 50 students admitted. Furthermore, another 5 students will be given Rs 25,000 per annum as a scholarship amount with respect to his/her parents income is Rs 6,00,000 per annum or less.

The fees for BBA+MBA or Integrated BBA - MBA at Nirma University is INR 3,25,000 Per Annum and for the MBA phase, the fees applicable to the respective MBA program at that point in time shall apply. Currently, the MBA course fees at Nirma University is INR 12,05,600. Aspirants must note that the fees structure for Integrated BBA - MBA course is subject to change depending on the internal policies of the institute. In some cases the fees structure may also change while you are enrolled in the course. Candidates who wish to seek admission to the Integrated BBA - MBA course offered by Nirma University must appear for the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore.
