Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates can apply for this course after passing class 12 with qualifying marks set by the respective college for which they are applying.

  • Candidates must have studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics in class 12.

  • Also, it is necessary to qualify the respective entrance exam in order to secure the seat in BAMS programme.

  • It is essential to score at least 50% marks in class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to be eligible for BHMS programmes.

BAMS vs BHMS - Admission process

There are certain core requirements students need to fulfill in order to pursue courses in Ayurvedic and Homeopathic education. For the most part, the BAMS vs BHMS eligibility criteria are similar.

Candidates who are planning to pursue Ayurvedic or Homeopathic programs in India are required to qualify for 12th standard in a science stream i.e Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks for candidates under the general category and a minimum of 40% for those under reserved category.A national-level eligibility test i.e NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a common test for authorizing admission to over 50,000 AYUSH medical seats and many other medical institutes in India.
