The Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is among the most popular law entrance exams in India. Conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), AP LAWCET is among the top state-level law entrance exams . Candidates who wish to pursue a course in law from the law colleges of Andhra Pradesh must pass the AP LAWCET test.

The AP LAWCET 2024 exam date is June 8 and the application process was held from March 26 to May 4 (without late fee). will begin shortly. Candidates need to upload certain important documents for filling up the AP LAWCET 2024 application form. A large number of colleges in Andhra Pradesh participate in AP LAWCET and the exam witnesses a huge number of test-takers every year. Here are all the documents that you will need for submitting the AP LAWCET 2024 application form. Some of these will have to be scanned and uploaded while the others will be needed for reference for filling the application form.

Photograph and Signature Dimensions for AP LAWCET 2024 Application Form

All candidates applying for AP LAWCET 2024 will have to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. Certain parameters have been set by the conducting body for uploading these documents so that there is uniformity and no scope for technical glitches. Instructions for Uploading Documents on AP LAWCET 2024 Application Form

The candidates applying for AP LAWCET 2024 must follow the instructions given below while uploading their scanned documents with the AP LAWCET 2024 application form.

For the Photograph:

  • Only passport-sized photographs are to be uploaded.
  • The photograph must be recent and should not be older than 3 months.
  • The photo must be taken against a background that is white or light coloured.
  • Candidates wearing spectacles must ensure that there are no reflections on the lenses and their eyes are clearly visible.
  • Wear any informal ornament like a cap, hat, sunglasses, etc. in the picture is not allowed.
  • Religious headwear is allowed as long as it does not cover the candidate's face.

For the Signature:

  • The applicant must put his/ her signature in black ink on white paper and scan it for uploading.
  • They must only scan the signed area and not the entire paper.
  • The paper must be blank and wrinkle-free and there should not be any lines on it.
  • The signature uploaded by the candidate will be mentioned on their AP LAWCET admit card and will be used for further admission formalities.
  • The uploaded signature must match the candidate's signature in the other rounds of the exam and admission process.

With these details in mind, all candidates will be able to complete their AP LAWCET application process smoothly.

AP LAWCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The Entrance Test has a qualifying percentage of marks of 35%. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for SCs and STs in order to be ranked. Please check out the eligibility criteria below.
