AP EDCET 2024 Seat Allotment Process

Under the AP EDCET 2024 seat allotment process two rounds will be conducted, however, if seats still remain there is a chance of more seat allotment rounds. The seat allotment process will be undertaken by the official exam conducting body in an online mode.

The seat allotment process involves shortlisting individuals for admission to the participating colleges on the basis of several factors such as the preferences marked by the individual during filling of the counselling application form, number of seats available, marks scored in the entrance exam, caste category of the candidate, reservation policy of the institute etc.

With completion of each counselling round the seat allotment round for that particular counseling round will be conducted. The release of seat allotment lists can be checked by visiting the official website and will also be mailed to the candidates.

All the candidates who have been allocated seats have to then report to the college allocated for further admission formalities. However, candidates who have not been allocated a seat or are not satisfied with the seat allocated to them in the first round can appear for the second round by filling the counselling application form and paying the counselling application fees once again.

  • Registration for AP EDCET counselling is compulsory to be considered for seat allotment of AP EDCET.
  • Candidates must pay the processing fee during the registration. They must take the printout of the payment receipt.
  • The candidates must complete the processing fee payment before uploading certificates for online verification.
  • To be considered for seat allocation, applicants must pay the processing fee within the deadline provided by the conducting body.
  • The seat allotment result will be issued in two parts - one is the provisional allotment order, and the other is the college-wise allotment order.
  • For college allotment order, candidates have to open the related link once launched. They have to then choose the college from the drop-down menu.
  • Next, they must add the branch and click the submit button. Once done, the screen will display the serial number, hall ticket number, rank of the candidate, aspirant’s name, gender, caste, region, allotted category, and phase.
  • For provisional allotment results, applicants must open the link “Allotment Order and Self Reporting”. Candidates have to type their required credentials, such as Hall ticket number and birth date and retrieve the allotment order.
  • Candidates must save a few copies of the allotment order and take their printouts as well.
  • After receiving the seat allotment order, the shortlisted applicants must proceed with college reporting. Candidates have to complete the admission process formalities before the admission cutoff date.
  • Aspirants must present only original certificates during the institute reporting procedure. They should not furnish fake certificates or documents during the reporting.

The B.Ed programme offered by SRSV College of Education cannot be pursued in distance/online mode as this is a regular programme. The course has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The annual fee for this programme Rs 25,000 and the course span is 2 years.
