Important Instructions for ICAR AIEEA Mop-Up Round Counselling

ICAR AIEEA Mop-Up Counselling 2024 : ICAR AIEEA exam will be conducted from May 15 - May 30, 2024 by NTA to offer admission in agriculture courses for UG level. The ICAR AIEEA Counselling 2024 will be started in July 2024 after the results of the ICAR AIEEA 2024 exam. The counselling dates are yet to be announced. There will be three rounds of counseling followed by a Mop-up Round. The students can either accept the allotted seat as per their choice in the first round of counseling or can wait for the subsequent rounds. Once the counseling dates will be announced, the students must be ready to register themselves for the counseling process.

What is ICAR AIEEA Mop-Up Round Counselling?

Before checking the important instructions, it is important to know about mop-up counselling -

  • Candidates, who would like to pursue their Under Graduation in Agriculture through ICAR AIEEA, will be writing a national–wide exam called ICAR AIEEA.
  • After the exam, the result will be out. Then the counselling process will  begin for the academic year 2024-25.
  • First round of counselling will be held soon after the results are out.
  • After completion of the 1st round of counselling, 2nd and 3rd will also take place soon.
  • The mop-up round counselling is the last and final round of counselling for the aspirants who are seeking admissions through ICAR AIEEA.
  • The mop-up round counselling 2024 will be notified after the 3rd round of counselling.

Important Instructions for ICAR AIEEA 2024 Mop-Up Counselling

  • In the Mop-up Round of Counselling, candidates do not have a chance to upgrade their seat allotment.
  • Aspirants will not have the option to withdraw or cancel the seat through the candidates` login for the entire period of choice filling and until the candidate gets seat allotment in this mop-Up Round of Counselling.
  • The Council will not entertain any kind of request for the withdrawal/ cancellation of the seat, which is sent to the Council by e-mail or fax or by post or by hand or WhatsApp.

Who is Eligible for ICAR AIEEA 2024 Mop-Up Round Counselling?

Candidates willing to participate in mop-up round counselling will have to satisfy the below-mentioned eligibility rules -

  • The candidates, who could not register themselves for the first round of Counselling, can take part in the Mop-Up Round of Counselling 2024 by paying a registration fee of Rs. 500/- and must have all other eligibility criteria.
  • The aspirants who had registered during the first round of counselling already paid the prescribed fee, but fail to upload the certificates or pay the seat acceptance fee in a given time are allowed to take part in the Mop-Up Round of Counselling 2024. Such students need not pay the counselling registration fee.
  • The applicants, who had registered during the 1 st round of counselling, filled in choice but didn’t get the desired seat in the expected University/college can also participate in Mop-Up Round of Counselling 2024. These candidates are exempted from paying the registration fee of counselling.
  • The above permitted/ allowed students should go for filling fresh choices for the vacant seats in Mop-Up Round of Counselling. The already filled choices will be automatically cancelled.

Who is Not Eligible for ICAR AIEEA 2024 Mop-Up Round Counselling?

The following candidates are not eligible to participate in ICAR AIEEA mop-up round counselling -

  • The aspirants who secured zero marks or negative marks in the AIEEA entrance exam 2024 are not eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Round of Counselling.
  • The students who have secured seats already from any of the counselling rounds (Round -1 or Round-2 or Round-3) are not eligible for the Mop-Up Round of Counselling 2024.
  • The aspirants who were denied by the Council of not having qualified on the grounds of Eligibility Criteria are also should / not allowed to participate in   Mop-Up Round of Counselling 2024.
  • In case the candidates` qualified examination board is not recognized by the state/college/university, ICAR AIEEE is not responsible for such admissions or will provide admissions in the future.
