About PAU Ludhiana

The PAU Ludhiana online exam for the PhD course will be conducted between October 14, 2022, to November 24, 2022. The counselling and personal interview will be conducted by the university itself from October 15, 2022, to November 25, 2022. The last date to apply for the Punjab Agricultural University PhD course was October 14, 2022. Candidates who were unable to apply on this date were given the option to apply with a late fee of Rs 1,000 was October 21, 2022. The PAU Ludhiana Round 2 counselling for B.Tech Agricultural Engineering has been conducted on October 12, 2022.

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) was established in 1962  to support the state of erstwhile Punjab, it was later inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Prime Minister of India on July 8, 1963. It is a public university, recognised by UGC and offers 83+ courses in varied fields. PAU Ludhiana was named the Best Agricultural University in India in 1995, for its notable contributions to increasing food production, livestock and poultry production in the state and ushering in an era of Green Revolution in India. The Punjab Agricultural University campus spreads over 494 hectares of land. It also has an off-campus area of 1,793 hectares.
