Best decision to join TNAU

Overall I completed my graduation from University of Delhi and had to move back to Pune. I did not wanted to do masters from DU again. While searching for the college that offers good M.Sc Biotechnology course, I came across TNAU and it felt like a match. The university has given my career a direction. My degree from TNAU is one of the milestones of my life. It has been recognised by UGC & AICTE. Even if I could not get on-campus placement opportunity, I did get off-campus opportunities and I am happy with it.

When was Tamil Nadu Agricultural University established?

In 1971, the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) was founded. Its origins can be traced back to the 1868 founding of an agricultural school at Saidapet, Madras, Tamil Nadu, India, which was later moved to Coimbatore in 1906. It was connected to Madras University in 1920. By providing research outputs, TNAU assisted the State Agricultural Department and took on full responsibility for Agricultural Education and Research.
