Candidates who will be appearing for CLAT 2025 have a few months left for the exam. They might be in a rush before the exam to follow the CLAT 2025 guidelines. • The candidate must have downloaded and taken a printout of his / her CLAT 2025 admit card at least a day before the exam. Keeping this for the last day can create unwanted hassle and stress for candidates.
• The documents that need to be carried to the CLAT exam centre should be kept aside so that candidates don’t forget at the last minute. They can arrange everything in a folder and carry the folder on the day of the exam. 
• Candidates should check all the instructions written on the CLAT admit card and follow the guidelines before entering the exam hall. 
• The aspirants should enter the exam centre by 1:00 PM and check the seat allocation. Everyone should sit in their respective seats by 1:30 PM. 
• The test takers must make sure that they will not be able to exit the Hall/ Classroom before 04:00 PM which means they will only be allowed to exit after the exam is over. 
• Candidates arriving at the exam centres after 2:15 PM will not be allowed to enter the hall/ classroom.
• They are not authorised to use the restroom after entering the Hall / Classroom.
• Knowing the exam day procedure properly will help candidates in saving time and they will also not be confused about what has to be done at the exam centre.
• One of the most important things that have to be done on the CLAT 2025 exam day is reaching the exam centre on time. The student must leave for the exam centre well in advance, leaving enough margin for reaching the centre before the reporting time. Being late at the exam centre will render them anxious and that will have a poor impact on their performance. Therefore, it is highly recommended to reach the exam venue at least an hour before the exam begins.
• It is advised to opt to carry limited and allowed items to the exam centre, as the exam centre does not guarantee the safety of your items.
• Candidates are allowed to carry their own water bottles to the exam centre but it must be transparent.
• Candidates will be allowed to wear a face mask. However, they may be asked to take it off for checking.
• Every applicant must carry an identity card that has been issued by the government.
• In stationery items, only one black and one blue ballpoint pen are permitted to be carried inside the exam centre.
• No other item apart from those listed above must be with the candidate when the reporting begins at the exam centre.

CLAT 2025: Don'ts

• No matter what, the candidate must not be late at the exam centre. The reporting process takes a while and candidates must have enough time at hand to complete the procedure.
• Electronic devices are not permitted within the CLAT exam centre. As a result, it is preferable if you leave your cell phones or other electronic devices at your residence and do not bring them to the centre. If you're coming with someone to drop you off, you can also give it to them.
• Bags or any other items from the banned list will not be allowed inside the exam centre premises.
• Candidates should only carry the items that are mentioned on the admit card, otherwise, it will be difficult for the candidates to enter the exam hall and take the exam. The security may cause trouble which will lead to wastage of time. Therefore, all applicants must carry with them only those items that are necessary to take the exam.
• If an applicant is feeling sick while taking the exam, he or she must not keep it to himself/ herself. An examiner or exam authority must be informed immediately so that necessary steps can be taken. 
• The candidates while the examination is going on cannot leave their seats to ask anything. In case of any queries, they should raise a hand and speak to the examiner. 
• Candidates must not talk to each other when they are in the exam hall. They must observe discipline and not make any noise.
• Candidates must not resort to any unfair means while taking the exam. This will lead to serious consequences for the candidate apart from his/ her disqualification from the exam.

CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Apart from knowing the dos and don'ts, it is also very important to be informed about the CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines beforehand to avoid any later issues. The CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines can be checked below so that students are updated with the information.  

• Candidates must bring the admit card and a valid ID proof such as Aadhar, Voter ID, Passport etc.
• Study material, paper or calculators are prohibited inside the examination centre, thus candidates should refrain from carrying such items.
• Each candidate must participate in the thermal screening process if mandatory.
• Nothing except the prescribed items is allowed within the exam centre. The list of the permitted items is given below.
• Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam starts. Entry would not be granted to those who reach the venue 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
• Nobody will be allowed to leave the exam centre before the exam is over.
• Verify the seating arrangement soon after entering the exam venue to avoid any hassle.
• Candidates will not be allowed to seek clarifications from anybody while the test is ongoing.
• Candidates must sign on the CLAT admit card 2025 in the presence of the invigilator. The signature must match the one uploaded in the CLAT application form.
• Proper dress code is to be followed as prescribed by the Consortium.

How to Attempt CLAT 2025?

Maintain your emphasis on achieving a high score, for which you should devise an appropriate strategy for CLAT 2025 for the exam day. The following are some pointers for taking the CLAT 2025:

• You must try the easier segment first in order to answer fast, allowing you to consider the more challenging questions afterwards.
• Due to the negative marking in CLAT 2025, try to avoid the difficult question. Aspirants will have 120 minutes to finish 150 questions, with each incorrect answer costing 0.25 points.
• Long excerpts from many subjects will be used to design questions for the CLAT 2025 exam. Read them attentively and respond to the questions using only the information from the paragraphs.
• Before leaving the exam venue, go over your paper again if there is time for the exam to be over.
