• B.Ed aspirants should be i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education and ii) Completed an NCTE-recognised teacher education course through Face-to-Face mode.
• There is a reservation in IGNOU B.Ed and candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-creamy layer)/ PWD/ EWS category will get a 5% relaxation of marks as per the rules of the Central Government.
• Aspirants who are Kashmiri migrants and war widows will be provided reservations as per the rules of IGNOU.
• A Master’s Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for academic studies at IGNOU.

IGNOU B.Ed Counselling Process 2024

The counselling process will be arranged for the IGNOU B.Ed admission 2024 so that eligible candidates can participate. This process will be held in their respective Regional Centres based on the merit list or rank list and the availability of seats. During counselling, the eligible students have to bring all original certificates for verification purposes.
