Tezpur University Undergraduate Admission 2025:  Students seeking UG admission to Tezpur University will have to register for the online counselling process after the CUET Result 2025. Students who will qualify in the CUET entrance exam 2025 will be eligible to take UG admission in Tezpur University. The Tezpur University offers admission in different courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, and doctorate levels. Tezpur University is located in the North-Eastern state of Assam. The university was established as Central University by an act in the parliament of India in the year 1994. Admission to undergraduate courses takes place through entrance examinations conducted by different bodies. While most of the admissions at Tezpur University take place through CUET UG 2025, some courses like B.Tech admission are considered through JEE Mains score. The admission process which was initially taken through entrance tests conducted by the University is now being considered through Common University Entrance Test.

CUET has made the process simpler and more relaxing for the students. The students now don’t have to run from one college to another and apply everywhere by paying the application fees to individual colleges. The University Grants Commission (UGC) made it compulsory for all the central universities to grant admission through CUET to enable single-window clearance for the students and to bring more clarity and transparency in the system.

The TU Merit List for UG Admissions through CUET will be released after registration process. The merit list for TU is likely to be released in the month of August 2025. Candidates will be able to download the merit list from the given link. There will be separate dates for online reporting and admission for unreserved seats and reserved seats. Those who will be selected for the Tezpur University Admission process will have to report to their respective department as per the dates announced by the university. The students who want to pursue different Undergraduate courses from Tezpur University need to fill out the application form for UG Admission in an online mode. The form is made available on the official website. The students must note down the following steps in order to apply online. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of Tezpur University at www.tezu.ernet.in/admissions2025

Step 2: Click on the 'Apply for CUET UG 2025' link which is in the extreme right corner of the home page.  

Step 3: A new registration window will be opened. Click on the 'New Registration' tab

Step 4: Guidelines for filling in the Online Application form' will be displayed on the screen. Read them carefully and scroll down and click on the option called 'Proceed'

Step 5: The registration form will be displayed and fill in the options with the relevant information such as the name of the candidate, date of birth, email id, mobile number, and verification code as reflected on the screen. 

Step 6: Then click on the option called 'Register' 

Step 7: Upload the required documents. 

Step 8: Click “Payment and Final Submission”, pay the prescribed fee for online registration using the online payment gateway.

Step 9: Take a printout of the application submitted. This printout will be required along with the other original documents at the time of admission.

Tezpur University UG Admission Process 2025

Tezpur University has multiple courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, and doctorate levels. The lists of undergraduate and certificate courses are mentioned in the eligibility criteria section. The admission process to Tezpur University will be initiated with the declaration of CUET UG result 2025. A counselling process is conducted to grant admissions to the universities. The steps for admission process for Tezpur University UG courses is provided below:

• The first step involved in the admission process to Tezpur University is to fill the admission form for the required course. 

• The admissions to undergraduate courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. 

• The students need to submit a counselling fee of INR 500 for regular courses if they represent the general category. The fee for SC/ST candidates is INR 250 and there is no application fee for the PwD students. 

• After the declaration of the result by CUET, Tezpur University will release the merit list for all the courses offered. The merit list will be available on the official website of Tezpur University. 

• All the students whose names appear in the merit list released by Tezpur University are eligible to take admission to their selected course. 

• The students need to pay the course fee in order to confirm their admission to the selected course. They will also attend the counseling session if needed as per the date and timings allotted to them.
