CLAT 2023 was held on December 18, 2022, and the CLAT 2023 results is also released on December 23, 2022. Candidates can download their results from here- CLAT 2023 Results (Released) . After the CLAT counselling registration window closes, the Round 1 seat allotment list will be released. The CLAT 2023 toppers list can also be checked here.
The national-level Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is held every year for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses. CLAT is offered by the Consortium of 22 NLUs all over the country. At present, 22 NLUs offer UG courses and 19 NLUs offer PG courses. Other than the NLUs in India, there are almost 61 colleges that accept the CLAT score. Public organizations like BHEL and ONGC accept CLAT-PG exam scores for recruiting candidates.
The cutoff mark for CLAT is the minimum qualifying score for the candidates, to get admission to law courses offered by the National Law Universities (NLUs). As there are 22 participating NLUs, the Consortium of NLUs will likely release 5 rounds of cut-off scores. The CLAT cut-off score mostly depends on the number of students who appeared in the exam, the total number of seats available, the cut-off score of the previous year, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of qualified candidates. It is usually seen that the CLAT cut-off score ranges between 95-100 for the general category and 80-85 for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Candidates who will be clearing the cut-off will go on the next round, i.e., the CLAT admission process. The cut-off is usually categorized for the 5-year LL.B program and 1-year LL.M program.

Since 2020, the exam pattern of CLAT changed and as a result, the cut-off score was revised. Students can get admission at NLU based on their CLAT rank. After the announcement of the CLAT result, candidates often look for the opening and closing ranks. This article will give a thorough knowledge of the CLAT LL.M Round 1 opening and closing ranks of the cut-off scores for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, for different categories. We will update the information regarding 2023 once available.
