Is the CLAT exam difficult to pass?

The CLAT exam is one of the toughest law entrance exams in the country as the questions are quite lengthy and difficult. The number of students appearing for the exam is also huge compared to other law entrance exams. With strategic preparation and strong determination, one can crack this exam.

 

What is the marking scheme of the CLAT?

The marking scheme of the CLAT remains unchanged. For every correct answer to the multiple-choice questions, students will be awarded one mark. For wrong answers, -0.25 marks will be deducted. The questions that will remain unanswered or unattempted will be considered 0. 

 

How is the CLAT exam conducted?

Candidates appearing for CLAT 2024 must note that the mode of the examination is offline, pen-paper/ centre-based. The exam will be conducted by the Consortium of the NLUs (National Law Universities). The exam is conducted for a duration of 2 hours.
