UCEED Result-Sharing Institutes 2024

The result-sharing institutes conduct their counselling round to select students for BDes courses through the UCEED score. So, they are not part of the counselling process conducted by the IIT Bombay. Check out the list of result-sharing institutes mentioned below:

UCEED 2024 Cutoff (Released)

UCEED 2024 cutoff was released by IIT Bombay on April 10, 2024, for the first round of counselling for both Part A & B along with the seat allotment. However, to participate in the counselling process, applicants must have secured a merit rank in the exam. To check their category-wise opening and closing ranks for various top colleges, prospective applicants can visit this link — UCEED cutoff 2024 . Further, the qualifying score will be the minimum scored marks in both parts A and B. There is a difference in these marks based on the category of candidates and their performance.

How to Calculate UCEED Expected Cut Off?

The expected cut-off marks for General Students - 57.63 + (24.52/2) = 69.89
Cut-off of OBC/EWS - 0.9 x 69.89 = 62.90
Cut-off of SC/ST/PwD - 0.5 X 69.89 = 34.94

UCEED 2024 Cut-off: Deciding Factors

The UCEED 2024 cut-off depends on various factors, such as:

• Total number of students appearing for the UCEED exam 2024
• Total number of students qualifying for the exam
• The difficulty level of the question paper
• Seat Intake available
• Previous year cut-off trends

Candidates can also calculate their UCEED marks vs rank by comparing their total marks in Parts A and B with the cut-off marks for your category and institute. The scores higher than the cut-off will result in better rank.

Admissions are done based on conducted UCEED joint admission counselling by IIT Bombay. However, some of the colleges mentioned above do not take part in the central counselling as they offer seats based on UCEED as well as their respective entrance exams of B.Des courses. These institutes include UPES, Dehradun and Lovely Professional University.

The seats offered under the Bachelor of Design course by the rest of the colleges are allocated based on reservation policies laid down by the Government of India. Candidates qualifying for the UCEED cut-off will be eligible to take admission in the B.Des programme offered by these colleges.

The curriculum of the programme is almost similar at all the institutes and may vary slightly depending on the specialisation of the programme.
