NIFT Application Form 2025 - NTA is expected to release the application form for NIFT 2025 soon. The application will be released online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
The application form for NIFT 2025 will be uniform for all the courses, namely B.Des, M.Des, and B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. Applicants are given the option to select their choice of study program in the form itself. The detailed admission schedule for NIFT 2025 will accompany the application form to be published by the NTA.
NTA will release the application form for NIFT 2025 soon. The exam is scheduled for Feb 2025. The form is for B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, M.F.M programs.
About NIFT Hyderabad
National Institute of Fashion Technology was set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It has emerged as the premier institute of design, management and technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario. National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad laid its plinth stone in the year 1995. The initial days began at Chenetha Bhavan Nampally Hyderabad with a strong team empowering the center.

NIFT Hyderabad admission is done through the NIFT Entrance Exam for both UG and PG degrees. Candidates that meet the NIFT cut-offs are expected to attend the NIFT counselling round. Candidates must choose the course and college of their choosing for admission throughout the counselling process.

NIFT Hyderabad Courses and Admission 2025
NIFT Hyderabad admission for both UG and PG is made through the NIFT entrance exam. Candidates who meet the required cut-off of the college are then asked to appear for the NIFT counseling round. During the counseling round, candidates need to select the course and college of their choice for admission.
- For Continuous Education (CE) programmes, candidates are called for a face-to-face interview at the campus selected by them for admission. The interview for each CE programme is designed to test the candidates' knowledge, skill, and aptitude for the programme opted by the students, which is considered while allotting admission.
- Admission cycle: NIFT Hyderabad admission process for UG and PG starts in may every year. NIFT Hyderabad admission is based on marks scored in the NIFT Entrance Exam. The entrance exam is divided into three parts; Creative Ability Test (CAT), general Ability Test (GAT), and Situation Test/Group Discussion and personal interview round.
- Undergraduate courses: Candidates planning to pursue B.Des are required to appear for CAT and GAT exams, followed by situation Test. For admission to B.F.Tech, a valid score in the GAT exam is required.
- Postgraduate course: Students are selected for the MFM programme based on their performance in the GAT exam, followed by Group discussions and Personal Interviews conducted by the institute.
- NIFT Hyderabad undergraduate admission: The college is divided into departments depending on the courses. The students can choose the specifications depending on their preferences. Fashion Technology is for a term of 4 years while courses under B. Des is for a period of 3 years.
- Postgraduate admission: There is no age limit for this course, unlike the bachelor's courses, only that the candidate should be a minimum of 18 years old. There are 37 seats per specialisation and five seats for NRI students. The fees for Masters vary depending on the course.
NIFT Hyderabad Placements
Candidates can choose between on-campus placements and pre-placement offers as part of their NIFT Hyderabad placements (PPOs). PPOs are often created by firms where students complete internships/training/projects as part of their NIFT course programme. The National Institute of Fashion Technology has a centralised placement process. Companies can employ students from any campus or course of the institute through two routes facilitated by the institute. Many top companies conduct NIFT Hyderabad campus placements. Placements and work prospects at NIFT are on the rise, with more international options, a bigger number of pre-placement offers, higher salary packages, and so forth.
- On-campus placements: Companies can register for campus placements. Upon being given a confirmed time and date, they may come to the campus for the placement procedure.
- Pre-placement offers (PPO): Companies can extend a job offer to students before the on-campus placement. Acceptance of the offer is considered a job placement. The institute doesn't allow students with such backgrounds to participate in the on-campus placement in order to guarantee equal opportunity for all. These offers may be made based on internships/ training/ projects undertaken by the students in the said company.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Course
National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad courses offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education (CE) programmes in design streams. The college offers six specialisations under the bachelor of the design programme and one bachelor of fashion technology specialisation at the undergraduate level. Master's programmes are available for those with a bachelor's degree.
NIFT Hyderabad admission to both UG and PG programmes is achieved through a common entrance exam of the college, which is accompanied by a situational examination. The results of the entrance exam, situation examination, and GD/PI are all taken into account during the selection process.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad Application Process
Candidates can fill out the application form for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by NIFT Hyderabad in the online mode, whereas for the Continuous Education programme, candidates have to fill the application form either online or offline. They must also pay an application fee for UG and PG courses of Rs 2,000 (General category) and Rs1,000 (reserved category).
