NIFT Application Form 2025 - NTA is expected to release the application form for NIFT 2025 soon. The application will be released online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
National Institute of Fashion Technology has opened applications for the Bridge Programme for the academic year 2024-25, providing opportunities for students to enhance their fashion education.
The Bridge Programme aims to facilitate admission into creative programs for aspiring students, offering tailored courses to enhance skills and professional readiness.
The application form for NIFT 2025 will be uniform for all the courses, namely B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. Applicants are given the option to select their choice of study program in the form itself. The detailed admission schedule for NIFT 2025 will accompany the application form to be published by the NTA.
NTA will release the application form for NIFT 2025 soon. The exam is scheduled for Feb 2025. The form is for B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, M.F.M programs.
About NIFT DELHI
NIFT Delhi or National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi was established in 1986 to offer a learning experience of the highest standards in fashion including technology, design and management. It is an autonomous institute, accredited by AICTE and recognised by the Government of India. NIFT Delhi was granted statutory status in 2006 and is associated with the Ministry of Textiles. The students here are exposed to new challenges, methods, advancements, and practices in order to be prepared for the competitive world. The NIFT Delhi campus initially started functioning from a temporary two-room set-up in its formative years and shifted to a full-fledged campus in 1994. It is the largest campus that offers all programmes of NIFT i.e. seven bachelor's and three master's programmes and has the largest student strength.
NIFT Delhi courses are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of design and communication. Some of the popular degrees offered are B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech and MFM. The courses offer both theoretical and practical training making students job-ready. The degrees awarded are given worldwide recognition. Every four years, the institute reviews its curriculum with feedback from the business community, alumni, internal research, visiting academics, and subject-matter experts. The NIFT Delhi courses fees range from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 12 lakh approximately, varying depending on the degree level and the duration of the course opted for.
Admission to these courses is based on the candidates' previous academic merit and the scores obtained by them in the entrance exams. The college conducts its own entrance test which is to be taken by the students for securing a seat during the NIFT Delhi admissions. The entrance exam will be followed by a group discussion (GD) and a personal interview (PI) session. NIFT Delhi Application Process 2024
The applications for the NIFT Delhi admission procedure are conducted only in online mode. Below are the steps for the online application:
- Visit the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi official website (nift.ac.in).
- Click on the ‘Register’ link.
- Fill out by providing the details required.
- Review the form and check whether all the information provided is correct or not.
- Then choose the course.
- Upload your signature and recent photo in the given format.
- Pay the NIFT Delhi application fee using online payment methods.
- Take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.
NIFT DELHI Placements
The institute examines its curriculum every four years with input from the business community, former students, internal studies, visiting academics, and subject-matter specialists. Leading technology, FMCG, journalism, media, and other industries, in addition to those in the fashion industry, frequently visit NIFT Delhi for placements. The institute has a dedicated training and placement cell which conducts pre-placement activities to make students job ready. Graduates in fashion design are employed for salaries ranging from an average of Rs 4.5 LPA to Rs 5.5 LPA. The NIFT Delhi placement percentage is around 98%.

NIFT Delhi cutoff is the minimum marks candidates need to score in NIFT entrance exam for admission. NIFT entrance exam is a computer-based test (CBT) and comprises two sections the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creativity Ability Test (CAT). NIFT DELHI Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
The students at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi are given access to a comprehensive and cutting-edge infrastructure that provides them with both theoretical and practical expertise. The institute is considered one of the modern iconic architecture of India. Out of all the NIFTs, the NIFT Delhi campus is the biggest. NIFT Delhi Facilities
Some of the facilities offered at the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi campus are:
Library: It consists of a comprehensive selection of e-books and other digital resources, including reputable online databases. Books and publications about fashion studies and related fields can be found in the print collections. Audio-visual materials which are primarily used for teaching are also available.
Laboratories: The NIFT Delhi lab facilities include separate labs for different courses. These include a computer lab, photography lab, art lab and studio, pattern-making and draping lab, weaving lab, knitwear lab, leather design lab, dyeing and printing lab, technology lab and garment technology lab.
NIFT Resource Centre: It has an integrated collection of print and non-print materials for the study of international and contemporary Indian fashion. Indian regional costumes and designer apparel are displayed in RCs. International collections feature clothing from renowned global fashion businesses as well as costumes from other nations are present as well.
Hostels: All hostel buildings have 24-hour professional security, a doctor on call and a warden. Every hostel offers entertainment options like television and a selection of indoor and outdoor games. The NIFT Delhi hostel facilities are available only for girls. The rooms are twin-sharing and have a bed, a mattress, a cupboard, a desk and a chair. Washrooms are cleaned regularly and a washing machine is also provided. There are around 104 rooms in the hostel building. The NIFT Delhi hostel fees are Rs 45,000 per year.

At the start of each academic year, National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi students submit their applications for the scholarship programme. The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the student's merit. The criteria for the NIFT Delhi scholarships must be met and are as follows:
- Merit-Based Scholarship: In college/ university, candidates must meet the established merit requirements.
- Fee Concession: The college administrations offer fee concessions to sections that are more economically vulnerable.
- Merit cum Means Based Scholarships: This scholarship is awarded by the college authorities to talented financially weaker students.
- Merit and National Scholarships: These are offered to brilliant students by the central government and state government's scholarship criteria.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi conducts it sown exam for admission to the institution. NIFT Delhi Awards
NIFT Act 2006 published in the Gazette of India on 14th July, 2006 confers Statutory Status on the institute. The Act came into effect from 1st April, 2007. The President of India is the ‘Visitor’ of the institute under the Act. The Act empowers the institute to award Degrees and other distinctions. NIFT is the first premier institute in India to award its own Degrees in the field of fashion education.

No such discount on fee is available for the disabled candidate in NIFT, Delhi, however, you can avail the SARTHAK scholarship offered by the institute. If your parental income is up to Rs. 1.5 Lakhs per annum, you get a 100% fee waiver. If it lies between Rs. 1.5 Lakhs to Rs. 2.5 Lakhs, students will be awarded 75% fee waiver. Also, if the income of the parent is between 2.5 Lakhs to Rs. 4.0 Lakhs, 50% fee concession is offered.
