NIFT 2024 Situation Test Exam Day Guidelines: As per the official notification released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the NIFT Situation Test 2024 will be held in March 2024,  tentatively. This stage of the examination is only conducted for admission to the BDes course, meaning, applicants who qualify for both CAT and GAT written tests can only take this test.

However, students will not be given any additional material and neither are they allowed to carry/bring any outside material.   • The concept behind the model constructed must be explained properly in the English language only.

  • As the medium of instruction in NIFT is English, there are no marks for write-ups in any other language.

  • Use of any outside material in making the model/design is strictly prohibited.

  • If the candidates disclose their identity by writing any personal details or placing any identification mark on the model/ design/write-up will be ‘DISQUALIFIED’ and their final result will not be published.

  • The situation test evaluation will be done on the spot by the Jury.

  • The model constructed by the candidates will not be preserved for future reference.

As the NIFT Situation Test is an important part of the exam that defines a candidate’s final result, students must prepare well for it and adhere to the instructions given below. The following are the NIFT Situation Test Day guidelines:

  • Students must download their NIFT 2024 admit card at least two to three days before the exam date to avoid any last-minute hassle.

  • They should familiarise themselves with the location of their NIFT 2024 test centres . If the centre is unknown to them, it is advised to check out the location a day before the exam so that candidates get an idea of the time required to reach the venue.

  • One of the most important exam day guidelines for NIFT Situation Test is that applicants must appear for the examination only at the specified time and venue mentioned on their admit card.

  • Candidates should reach their allotted NIFT 2024 situation test centre at least one hour before the exam.

  • There is no set exam pattern or syllabus for the NIFT situation test 2024. Therefore, aspirants should keep themselves calm and be mentally prepared for any type of question in the exam.

  • All candidates who appear for the NIFT 2024 Situation Test will be evaluated on their models and write-ups on the spot by the jury present in the examination hall. Therefore, candidates are advised to work on their model in an organised manner with complete confidence.

  • The test-takers must pay attention to all the instructions given by the invigilators during the exam.

  • In the model created or write-up drafted during the NIFT 2024 Situation Test, candidates are not allowed to write any detail that discloses their identity. If they do so, they will be disqualified and their NIFT 2024 results will not be disclosed.
