RIT Roorkee B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Our college academics are very good.RIT faculties most of the professors well knowledgeable .They got a helping nature as well.Teachers have helped me a lot.overall it is a good for placement.

Placement: Our college is very good for placements. Since last few years, many companies have also come to visit the campus. Many children are also getting placed with us.

Infrastructure: As you can search it on Google RIt got NAAC A++. Building structure is well and good not so big but enough as compared to fee they provide many facilities also

Faculty: We have got very good faculties.Teachers of all branches are very good and very knowledgeable.They help the students a lot for placement.Teachers are also very good.

Hostel: Mess food is very healthy.sometimes students are not satisfied with foods but they give their best.hostel management is very good.Rooms area is big and provide clean also

Overall: I am in the second year of the B.Tech (LE) CSE (AL&ML) programme. The admission process for lateral entry to B.Tech was quite easy. I visited the college campus and filled out the form based on eligibility criteria and got selected. The course fee for this course is around Rs 4 LPA for three years. The faculty of the engineering department is knowledgeable. They organise practices and seminars for overall development. The university offers adequate facilities such as a library, hostel, canteen and labs. If I talk about placements, I have 2 more years to prepare myself for that. However, the average package offered during the 2022 placements was Rs 6.5 LPA.

Placement: My seniors got placed in leading companies such as Byjus, Hashedin by Deloitte, E&Y, and Prism Johnson Ltd. during the 2022 placement drive. The highest package offered is Rs 10 LPA. The institute has successfully placed 82.5% of students in the previous year. The placement for 2023 is ongoing.

Infrastructure: Sachin and Vibhor Sir are my favourite professors in the department. The faculty are educated and hold experience of 5 to 10 years in their respective fields The staff members are also supportive. The student-to-faculty ratio in my department is 35:1

Faculty: RIT has a huge sports ground on the campus along with a gym. Different sports courts are also available. The institute has a seminar hall to conduct seminars and programmes. Hostel and mess facilities are also available. A canteen is present on the ground floor and it offers a wide of cuisines.

Hostel: RIT has a well-built hostel infrastructure for both boys and girls. It offers AC and non-AC rooms with double and triple occupancy. I live in a twin-sharing non-Ac room. The charges are different for AC and non-rooms. It ranges from Rs 72,000 to 1,02,000. Hostel security charges of Rs 3000 have to be paid one time and it is refundable.

Overall: As an ex-RIT topper, I can confidently say that my experience at this institution has been truly enriching. RIT is a leading technical institute affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University. The courses offered are AICTE approved. It provides a holistic learning experience that goes beyond academics, fostering personal and professional growth. It was awarded the ATAL Ranking of Institutions on Innovation achievements by the Institution’s Innovation Council, MHRD Govt. of India and Excellence in Innovation by IIC. I took admission in B.Sc ME course and my admission was done through JEE counseling. Also, I had to make sure I meet the eligibility criteria set for the course which is- to pass the 10+2 examination with 60-90% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Placement: If I give my view on RIT placements, the first thing I would say is its commitment to ensuring the successful placement of its students in the strongest aspects. We had a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to invite renowned companies for recruitment drives. The training and placement programmes provided by RIT are highly effective in grooming students for interviews, enhancing their technical skills, and developing their overall personalities. The overall highest salary package offered is Rs 25 LPA and for MBA students, the highest LPA was recorded at Rs 18 LPA in 2022. Such an impressive placement record speaks volumes about its commitment to producing industry-ready professionals.

Infrastructure: RIT boasts impressive infrastructure, equipped with modern amenities and cutting-edge technology. In the 30-acre campus, we were provided with well-designed classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library and advanced computer facilities. The university breathes in a serene and conducive environment, with lush green surroundings that inspire learning and creativity. However, this is solely my point of view. Other facilities include an auditorium, incubation center, cafeteria and many more.

Faculty: My professors are experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields. I have seen them adopt innovative teaching methods, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subjects. The faculty members are approachable, encouraging students to clarify their doubts and engage in interactive discussions. Their guidance and mentorship played a crucial role in shaping my career paths.

Hostel: RIT offers comfortable and well-maintained hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with modern amenities and provide a conducive environment for students to focus on their studies. My room was a double-seater AC room. You will find two-seater and three-seater rooms both AC and non-AC. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and maintained with utmost care. The hostel fee ranges between Rs 72,000 to Rs 1,02,000 which includes mess fees as well. You have to pay a one-time refundable security deposit of Rs 3,000.

Overall: Roorkee Institute of technology offers a diverse range of academic program and has a vibrant campus atmosphere. the faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive .

Placement: The placement opportunities at Roorkee Institute of Technology are commendable with a magnificent Average package of 5.6 L.P.A The placement process is well-structured.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Roorkee institute of technology is commendable ,featuring modern facilities that cater to various academic and extracurricular needs.

Faculty: The faculties at Roorkee Institute of Technology are generally knowledgeable , experienced and dedicated to their fields. They exhibit a passion for teaching and behaviour.

Hostel: The hostel facilities at Roorkee Institute of Technology are generally satisfactory, providing students with a comfortable living environment . the rooms are are furnished.

Overall: My time at Roorkee Institute of Technology has been greatly enriched. It is a prestigious technical institute that is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University. It has received the Excellence in Innovation Award from IIC and the ATAL Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements by the Institution's Innovation Council, MHRD Government of India. The transition from school life to college life was made easier by the institute. We studied, but also enjoyed the education.

Placement: The Roorkee Institute of Technology organises placement drives every year at the campus. For campus placements, interested candidates must have to register themselves first and get proper training through the placement drive. Some of the major recruiters participating in the placement drive are IBM, Zopper, Dell, HP, Byju’s, Patanjali, Amazon, HCL, Infosys and more. The highest salary package at the institute ranges between Rs 10 to 40 Lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The entire campus of RIT has access to WiFi facility. There is a facility of hostels for both girls and boy students which consists of facilities like a mess, indoor games, recreational activities room, and others. There is an auditorium at the institute that hosts various activities whether cultural or inter-departmental. There is a medical facility with a functional gym, banking facilities and more available to the students. There is a cafeteria there that stays open till midnight. You can check out three books at once from the campus library, which offers volumes on a variety of topics. The campus is covered in security cameras for surveillance. Every day, the classrooms were cleaned.

Faculty: The curriculum of Roorkee Institute of Technology has been approved by AICTE and it complies with the requirements set by Uttarakhand Technical University. The majority of the faculty members have PhDs from reputable universities nationally or internationally, while the remaining guest faculty members may have M.Tech degrees. The faculty members helps the students to understand the concepts of the curriculum easily. The RIT faculty members generally adopt teaching methods as per the requirement of the students.

Overall: This Institute is very famous for their technical resources . It is very great and big. This Institute infrastructure is very great. It has all the resources of student basic need.

Placement: placement of this Institute is very great because so many students had got the best package from this institute. Their highest package was 50 lakh per Annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this Institute is very great and it has so many libraries and Wi-Fi it has so many libraries and Wi-Fi facilities available for student .

Faculty: The faculty of this Institute is very great and there are so many faculty available in this institute. Faculty are very good with teachers and with students too.

Hostel: The hostel facility of this Institute is very great and its provides so many food options to the student and and student were very happy when they got the admission in this.

Overall: In order to become a successful software engineer, I chose RIT Roorkee for B.Tech CSE. There were two reasons for choosing, first the fee is low as compared to other private colleges and secondly it is near to my home. You can easily get admission with an average rank in JEE Main. The college provides scholarships to students based on their Class 12 score and JEE Main rank. I got a scholarship and the tuition fee was reduced to half for the entire duration of the course.

Placement: Right from the beginning of final year students are eligible to sit for placements. The only condition is there should not be any backlog. The placement cell helped me in getting campus placement. I was trained and given instructions that helped me land a job during the placement drive. The average package offered to students ranges between Rs 5 - 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: We had a great time in college. Roorkee Institute of Technology has a cafeteria that is open till 12 midnight. The college library has books for different subjects and you can issue three books at a time. For surveillance, there are security cameras everywhere in the campus. The classrooms were cleaned daily.

Faculty: RIT Roorkee faculty have excellent knowledge and teaching skills. Professors using modern teaching methods such as PPT, presentation for teaching. This makes classes all the more interesting and interactive. To provide in hand experience, practical sessions and industrial visits are held once a week and month, respectively.

Hostel: I stayed at the hostel for one year only in a tripe sharing AC room. The annual charges of the room was Rs 92,000. The room was good but sometimes I felt it was too small for three people. Facilities like unisex gym, yoga room, mess, canteen etc. were available at the hostel.

Placement: This company arrived in final year and hence I am selecting in freshly fir road railway and highway construction ans also work in building construction, jsjsjs skskskd skdksks sksks keksnn jdjdjjsk kskksm

Overall: Roorkee Institute of Technology is one of the best engineering institutes in Roorkee. It is a highly professional institute with only one motto which is quality education. I am graduating this year from RIT Roorkee. I have to say that the institute is great and If you are thinking about pursuing B.Tech from the RIT, it is surely an amazing option. I am doing B.Tech in Civil Engineering. The annual fee of RIT is Rs 99,9000. There are limited seats so you should have a good academic record to get admission. Placements are also good at the college, in 2022 the placement percentage was 82.75%. The highest package was around Rs 10 Lakh PA.

Placement: The highest package was around Rs 10 LPA. Placements in 2023 are still happening so the stats are not known. I have not opted for placements but my friends have been placed in many top companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is nice. Though there is not much space for recreational activities. Department buildings have labs that are well-equipped. Classrooms are also huge.

Faculty: Ajay sir is the best HOD I know. He is kind, supportive and listens to our problems with patience. He is constantly introducing different programmes to engage students and keep them occupied with technology and research.

Hostel: Hostels are amazing here. I live in a triple occupancy room AC room. The starting hostel fee is around Rs 70K and ranges to Rs 1,02,000. You will have to give security charges as well.

Overall: There were a lot of opportunities to get placement. Here many companies come for placement but the lack of coding skills in student they were not able to crack...from past some days 27 lakhs package companies visited the collge but no one can crack.. But now college introduced many coding facilities for students so join my rit rookee and make your carrer.. best

Infrastructure: Not so good but alest you can make your carrer very best with little amount of fee.. we have big graound for cricket badminton tennis footbal etc....now college introduce new canteen and mall in campus

Faculty: Best faculty.....i have ever seen in my life i thnk you got best ever faculty in your life when u just get admission in rit the best part of my collge
