The institute has a newly formed placement cell. This Indian Institute of Remote Sensing Dehradun placement cell prepares a placement brochure during the last semester of the course, which is published on the website for open access. Many private and public companies are active in this placement cell for the students’ benefit.

Dear student, the last date to apply for M.Sc, M.Tech and PG Diploma programmes offered at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun is not available on the official website of the institute. The good news is that the registration process is still ongoing. We recommend that you must register for admission at IIRS Dehradun immediately before the registration link expires. IIRS Dehradun has already released the Ist Waiting List and the shortlisted candidates have already provided their willingness to join the institute by 16th August 2020. If any seats remain vacant, IISR Dehradun will release the IInd Witing List and if you have registered successfully, you will be considered to be included in the waiting list.
