COLLEGE EXAMINATIONS:Apart from Part- I, Part- II and Part- III University Final Examinations in outside examination centers the students of each Part / Year will be given Annual Test / Several class Tests and Tutorials this time or that. Detailed plan of these will be available in the Academic Calender and the program schedule for these Tests or Examination will be notified in due time.LIBRARY: There is a methodically furnished Library in the college. Keeping in view the need of the poor students of rural areas’ the library has a considerable accession of nearly 13,500 books on various subjects. In order to borrow books from the college library students must, at first, avail themselves of ‘not transferable’ Library Cards. Every student must return the borrowed book (s) by the stipulated due date. Every student must obtain a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the Librarian on return of all his/her borrowed book(s) at the end of each academic year. Failure to this rule will render him/ her liable to be prevented from filling in the Form for appearing in the final University Examinations of the respective year. While reading in the library Reading Room the student will remain aware that they make no noise and keep quite in the room.GAMES AND SPORTS AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION:There are provisions for both outdoor and indoor games in the college. There are provisions for playing Table Tennis and Carom Board in the Common Rooms for the boys and for the girls. Of the out door games provided by the college Football, Cricket and Volleyball are the main ones. Besides, there is a Gymnasium in the college, where the students can have physical exercise and health training with the aid of various modern equipments and implements under the supervision of the Physical Education teacher.NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME:National Service Scheme has been on the run in full swing in the college since 1987-88 academic session. At present there are more than 200 student – volunteers enrolled in the two NSS units. They have been engaged in different social service and public welfare Programs like Literacy Campaign, Blood Donation camp, Pulse- Polio Programs, AIDS Awareness Programs etc. Beside these, they have been playing active role in developing the college compound by Tree Plantation Program, Pollution Awareness Program, Environment Conservation Program etc. Added to their regular programs, Special Camps of the volunteers are held regularly. There are full- time teachers in charge of the Program Officers of the two NSS units in the college.
