Brainware University was established in 2016. It is a private state university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and located in Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal. It has received approvals from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Bar Council of India (BCI), the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and the Ministry of Education, GOI. IIRF Ranking 2023 ranked Brainware University as the Top Technical Private University in West Bengal. The university provides admission in 22 courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Brainware University courses are BTech, BPharm, BCom, BSc, MBA, MTech, LLB etc. All the courses are offered in full-time mode. Brainware University Admission Process 2025
Brainware University admission process begins after qualifying for the relevant entrance exam for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses is almost similar. Candidates must follow the step-by-step guidelines to get an overview of the admission process in detail.

The regulations for the counselling of the GNM course at Brainware University, Kolkata will follow the guidelines of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). The WB ANM & GNM Counselling 2024 is expected to start in October 2024. During the counselling process, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the Brainware Univeristy. After securing the Cutoff marks, based on the closing rank, admission will be granted.

To participate in the 2nd round of WB ANM GNM Counselling 2024, candidates need to complete the registration process and exercise their choices for the round. For degradation, after round 1, candidates who did not get any seat allotted, are eligible to participate in the WB ANM & GNM Counselling Round 2.
Candidates need to select the 'YES' option for upgradation to take part in the 2nd round of WB ANM GNM Counselling. For each round of counselling, students need to pay INR 500 during registration, and INR 1,000 for seat acceptance and locking. It is important to note that those students who have failed to submit documents in the 1st round and other fresh candidates cannot take part in the WB ANM GNM Round 2 Counselling.

You can take admission in the BCA course at Brainware University even if you are from the arts stream. The eligibility criteria set by the university for BCA is minimum 55% marks in Class 12 in any stream. For admission, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and appear for the Brainware Entrance Test (BET). Based on your score in BET and Class 12, you will be selected for admission. Brainware University offers both BCA and BCA (Hons) courses. BCA (Hons) is of 4 years and its annual fee is Rs 118150. On the other hand, BCA is a three years course with an annual fee of Rs 123066.
