CSAB 2024 Special Vacant Seats Release Time: As per CSAB 2024 special rounds schedule, the vacancies after JoSAA Rounds has been postponed to Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Candidates wishing to appear for the CSAB special round 2024 to secure admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can check the available vacant seats at 10:00 hrs (or 10 AM). Two special rounds by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will fill the remaining NIT+ system seats after the 5th round of JoSAA. NITK Surathkal will conduct these rounds online and candidates must register again at the official website- csab.nic.in. Do note, the process involving registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, and payment of fees, for these rounds is different from JoSAA rounds.

CSAB Vacant Seat Date 2024: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will start the counselling for CSAB Special Round for the remaining UG engineering seats after JoSAA counselling of all NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Do note that CSAB will not conduct the allotment counselling for IITs. The online registration for CSAB counselling seat requests will start on July 26. The board was to release the list of all vacant seats after the JoSAA rounds on the official website on July 29, 2024, but it has now been postponed to July 30. The candidates can fill out the choices from the list of CSAB vacant seats up to the last date August 3, 2024. 

CSAB Special NIT Vacant Seats 2024: Candidates can check out CSAB Special Vacant Seats for all 31 NITs here in an institute-wise manner. The vacant seats mentioned here are official and are inclusive of all courses, and categories. Through this, applicants can determine which NIT has the most chances for admission. These vacancies will be filled based on the candidate’s category, rank, and course preference. CSAB will release the vacant seats on July 29.

CSAB IIIT Vacant Seats 2024: Candidates looking to secure a seat through CSAB Special Round 1 can check the total number of seats available in different IIITs. The vacancies at each of the IIITs will be released on July 29 at csab.nic.in. As per the CSAB Special Round 1 official data, candidates can check out the available vacancies for all 26 IIITs before exercising web options for the CSAB Special Round 1 2024 counselling process. 

CSAB Special GFTI Vacant Seats 2024: After the conclusion of JoSAA counselling 2024, all remaining engineering seats of GFTIs will be filled through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling process 2024. The total number of vacant seats in each participating GFTI for CSAB special round 2024 will be shared below. The candidates can prefer the web options in the choice filling window for CSAB Special GFTI round 2024 according to the number of seats remaining in that college. The total number of CSAB special vacant seats in GFTIs is inclusive of all categories and reservations.
