Overall: In the Madhepura District of the state Bihar, Jannayak karpoori Thakur Medical College and Hospital is situated close to jajhat, sabaila, singheshwar road NH-106. It occupies a total 25 acres of land. It's land area is 68%greenfield. Pros of taking admission here- 1. Environmental is quite refreshing and lots of greeneries are present. 2. Ragging here is not promoted, only basic introduction are done to break the shell of underconfident students and polishing the confident one. 3. Seniors and faculties here are of quite helping nature. 4. Fir sports lovers there is an indoor stadium and various courts and pitches for outdoor games. 5. For fitness freak a gym is present. Cons of being here- 1. There is some sort of toxicity like other medical colleges but less than other government colleges. 2.city like madhepura is backward so you won't get a good city life. My overall conclusion 1. Don't regret your decision of taking admission here Accept it with open heart as the course MBBS in itself a Nobel course and college matters very less , what matter most is your knowledge and your tallent of treating your patients. 2. This is best time to build great human relationships. So try having good friends and good seniors here. 3. Work on skill development and get a hobby. All the very best and choose your college wisely.

Placement: After completing 4.5 years of total 5.5 years of duration , you will get internship for one year. All the College under AKU provides same internship amount of 20k -22k per month which is sufficient as a ug intern for bearing expenses. After completing MBBS you can work at medical college or PHC etc where government will provide you 60k-70k per month.. Or you can open your own clinic or become a private practicionor where experts earns around 1-1.5 lakhs per month.

Infrastructure: Hospital building - The government hospital featuring top-notch amenities. This hospital features 500 beds in its own emergency ward, along with newest OT equipment, skilled medical personnel, and nursing staff. The main building of the hospital is split into 5 blocks. There are 23 departments that are currently providing patient care. Academic building - There are separate building for first and second year for non clinical subject.. Rest clinical subjects class takes place in hospital block in their respective lecture theatres. Academic building is well equipped with instruments. There is lab for each subject.

Faculty: Faculties here are less as compared to other medical college as it is newly settled college. But faculties here are very tallented, very helpful, they give their best while teaching. I have utmost admiration for then as they always motivates for cracking pg entrance and emphasis on becoming a good and a successful doctor.
