The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling is expected to commence in August 2025. The state counselling process will be conducted by the DME based on the merit list released at the state level.

The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling will be conducted in August 2025, tentatively. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Maharashtra, will conduct the state counselling process for NEET 85% state quota seats across the government and private medical colleges in the state. Through Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025, admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and AYUSH courses will be offered to eligible students who meet the specified cutoff criteria. Moreover, the DME, Maharashtra, will release a state-level merit list featuring the names of the shortlisted students for the admission counselling process.

Based on the NEET 2025 Exam statistics, around 10,145 MBBS and 3,546 BDS seats will be filled across the state through the Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling. A total of three rounds of counselling will be primarily conducted, followed by a stray vacancy round if several seats remain unfilled by the end of three rounds. To successfully register for the counselling process, all students must fill up the application form and pay the admission fee as specified on the official website.
