The Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences offers the lateral entry option for a lot of popular courses like bachelor in pharmacy, where students who have completed diploma in Pharmacy can directly enrol themselves into the third year of the bachelor course but to the condition, they meet the eligibility criterion.

The lateral entry option is available for many other courses, and the enrollment guidelines are not the same. However, if the eligibility and aptitude test are done well, the chances for admission increase immensely.
 

Datta Meghe Institute of medical science considers all the common entrance tests conducted in association with the government of India like AIPHDET, NEET etc. However, the University also has its own eligibility criteria that contains a specials eligibility and aptitude test created by the respective department's faculty to gauge student potential and understand the necessity to enrol in the particular course opted.

Bachelor of physiotherapy is a 4.5 year-long course with an internship period (which is mandatory for all with no exceptions whatsoever).

The initial phase of the course teaches subjects similar to MBBS, BDS or a Nursing course, which builds a strong foundation for the core subjects in the final years. The physiotherapy program is definitely worth the hassle and effort as it has a very vast syllabus that teaches students a lot about other medical streams giving beneficial multi-disciplinary knowledge to treat patients.

The institute offers many specialization courses in the medical and engineering fields that are integrated programs containing all the subjects of the two individual courses at once.
