About VMOU
Vardhman Mahaveer Open University or VMOU is an open university in Kota, Rajasthan. Previously known as Kota Open University, it was established in 1987 to provide open learning education opportunities in Rajasthan. VMOU Kota is recognised by the Distance Education Bureau-University Grants Commission (DEB-UGC) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). VMOU Kota is accredited with an A Grade by NAAC.
VMOU offers 23 undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and PhD courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Education, and Management, among others. Some of the popular courses include BA, BCA, BJ, B.Sc, MBA, MJ, and M.Lib.I.Sc, M.Sc, MA, and MSW. These VMOU courses are offered under 22 departments, 7 regional centres, and 5 schools. The process for VMOU Kota admission 2024 has been elaborated in the following steps:
- Apply Online: Go to the official website of VMOU (vmou.ac.in) and click on ‘First Year/Fresh. Then, click on ‘Apply Now’ and select ‘New User’.
- Complete Registration: Register with a valid contact number and email address, and verify the registration by entering the OTP received on the provided contact details.
