Loyola College admission is offered to interested candidates at undergraduate, postgraduate and well as doctoral courses. These degree courses are offered in the stream of commerce, arts, natural sciences, and social sciences at the college. Along with the general streams of education like Arts, Science, and Commerce, the college also provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business, Vocation studies, and Computer. All the courses at Loyola College under the stream of Arts, Science & Commerce are offered by the college in two shifts – Shift I (Aided) & Shift II (Self-Supporting).
Candidates are offered for the UG admission based on their merit and during interviews held by Loyola College. The students are informed about their application status through various methods such as SMS or email. of the same. Candidates who are interested should register through the online portal for admission to Loyola College and complete the application with all necessary information. All PG courses as well as VISCOM, B.Com (Hons), BMM (Animation), French Lit., and B.Voc in UG Courses are open to women candidates.
Under distinct specialisations, Loyola College UG admission is offered in a variety of undergraduate degree programmes in BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Voc, BBA, BCA, and BMM. Each course lasts three years to complete. The college offers all of the courses in the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams in two shifts: Shift I (Aided), and Shift II (Self-Supporting). Classes for Shift I run from 8:15 am to 1:15 pm, and classes for Shift II run from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The minimum requirement for Loyola College admission to UG programmes is passing the HSC or Plus Two in any relevant stream from an accredited board. Merit in the qualifying exams and an interview are used to determine admission at Loyola College to UG programmes.

In addition to offering a variety of UG degrees, Loyola College Chennai PG admission is also offered to interested students with a range of PG programmes. The MA, M.Sc, and M.Voc programmes are available in a variety of specialisations. While the college only offers one specialisation of the other programmes, like M.Com and MCA. With the exception of the MCA programme, which is a three-year programme, each course has a two-year duration. Candidates must successfully complete a Bachelor's degree in the necessary specialisations in order to be eligible for Loyola College PG admission. The college conducts interviews after the entrance exam to determine who will be admitted to each course. A TANCET entrance score is required for admission to the MCA programme.
