Overall: My overall college experience has been quite good as i got the opportunity to meet new people and learn many new things and i have got to experience many new things in new events

Placement: There is no such placement facility in the college campus but there are some intership opportunities available that can be availed by the students during their second year

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice and the classrooms are quite spacious and big and well designed and most of the classrooms have many acs and fans so heat is not a problem

Faculty: Some of the young teachers lack experience but the older teachers teach very nicely and they are very nice and Cooperative with the students and overall the teachers are very understanding and nice

Hostel: I have not opted hostel facility as the college is not very far from my home but the there are some things that i have heard about the hostel like the hostel is really dirty and the mess food is very average

Overall: Here is a guide cum detailed review of Gauhati Commerce College. The college is mid overall with good infrastructure structure but poor placement facilities.

Placement: The placement is not even noticeable with only a handful are placed with a bare minimum package. For placement after completion of bachelor, don't opt for this college either go for Gauhati University or some other bigger colleges.

Infrastructure: The infrastructures are well maintained and good in shape. The development is still going on with new classes to be made. There are total seven buildings; the library, the MBA block, principal's office, B.Com and HS block, teachers'office, BBA block and the M.Com block. The college also have a football field and volleyball court.

Faculty: The faculties are excellent when it comes for scoring high in exams but they lacks in teaching the basics. You may score good marks but in order to go further for competitive exams, the college teachings will not be of any use. The faculties are mostly having a masters degree and some of them also have a PhD.

Overall: It's a okay college but the faculty isn't very supportive and you cannot have easy access to anything there. The building is very big and with many rooms. But the garden is beautiful.

Placement: It doesn't give any placements. They promise to get students job but the students have to find the job themselves. It only helps to get the degrees but no placements

Infrastructure: Not that well. The classrooms look dull and old. There is no proper arrangement. The canteen is nice and big but still most of the times it remains dirty. There is a library which is well maintained

Faculty: There is a huge faculty which is smart and we have professors from all various backgrounds. Some of them are really supportive but some others are likely to shout at students unnecessarily all the times. But overall it has a nice team

Hostel: It only has a boy hostel and there is no hostel for girls. I have heard the boys hostel is nice and they are planning to open a girls hostel as well in the near future.

Infrastructure: The college is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support the learning needs of its students. Students have access to modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, libraries, computer labs, and recreational areas.

Faculty: The college boasts a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members.They provide personalized attention and guidance, ensuring that students receive the support they need to excel in their studies.

Hostel: The college provides well-maintained hostel buildings with spacious rooms at convenient fee for Boys only.Experienced hostel wardens are appointed to oversee the well-being of students and address any concerns or issues they may have.

Overall: Need to paint the buildings and clean the environment as the building interior looks full and dirty and the backyard of the college looks dirty too but from front side it's great in the city

Placement: In sorry to inform but this college is not good for placement for degree but in MBA there's a slight chance , from my side try different college if you're looking for placement

Infrastructure: Need to paint and maintain the environment as the surroundings Looks dirty but speaking of infrastructure it's great with high tech facility, best in the city when it comes to government college

Faculty: Good teaching as it has quality teachers but attending class is important on a regular basis and good part is that the most of the teachers there are mostly renowned writers

Hostel: Water shortage during winter, rooms are not clean in short, the walls looks super dirty, and the water issue is of concern but there's a great unity among all the hostelers and it's surely beneficiary
