Overall: The campus life here is very nice. Here all the clubs are run by students only and monitored by a professor. And you can join this collage of you are a hard worker,if you study you will get good opportunities for campus placements.
Placement: I joined this collage only based on placement. When I joined this collage the previous year 40 students got 40 lpa from Amazon. And last year the highest package is 120 lpa on campus placements and average of 17 lpa
Infrastructure: The whole campus is surrounded with forest and you have to be very careful while roaming in the campus as there is many cases of sightings of snakes. The building here are very old and in hostel there is no ac facilities but for library and classrooms there is central AC system.
Faculty: Here the faculty here are very knowledgeable and very much approachable. There teaching skills are very good and all professors here are very experienced and very helpful if you have any doubts you can approach them wheather it's academics or non academic.
Hostel: Here the hostel room have no ac facilities and if you want to use cooler you have to buy it and get the permission first and also you have to pay 50 rupee per month to use cooler. First year students have to share 4 members per room and second years have to share 3 members per room. For third year and fourth year single room is alloted.Every hostel have there own canteen.
Overall: IIITDM Jabalpur was really a good experience. I enjoyed a lot and gained a good amount of knowledge from the institute. The college life is good here. The main thing I love in the college is interaction between the seniors and juniors. The culture of the college impressed me. I choose this college because of three reasons. One is my JEE MAINS rank and other is the average package and median package, and the last one is the faculty due to their qualification from well known institutes.Overall the campus life is good and also if you find good friends then it is not really boring and you could enjoy well and learn many things. The campus is full of greenery. The seniors and the club members are the one who you would miss a lot. Overall I would say the campus life is very good. You can come over and experience it as well.
Placement: Yes, IIITDM Jabalpur has placement cell. As I just completed my first year, I am not that aware of the placement cell in the college, but I have heard and saw many things of the placement cell from the LinkedIn and Instagram pages. This time the average package of the institute was around 19 LPA. They are very competitive in their field and work hard as much as they can to help the students for placements.
Infrastructure: The college consists of administrative block, lecture hall, tutorial complex, primary health care, six hostels, computer centre, library and residential facilities for faculty and also for the parents who visit the college. Lecture hall and Tutorial complex consists of all classes and also exams are held there. Administrative Block is for administration purposes and Primary health care is same like hospital. It also has an ambulance 24*7 in the campus. Computer center and library has a library on the ground floor which also consists of a reading room and other floors have labs some are equipped with computers too.
Faculty: As I told the third reason to choose this college is the faculty working here. Most of them are post graduates from IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and other are also graduated from very well known and reputed colleges and some of the faculty have their post graduation and masters from international universities also. They are really student friendly and most of them teach very well. Maximum of the faculty use power point presentations for the lectures as it is common now a days in all the institutes. The faculty is also very helpful in both academic and non-academic things. So I think this is the good faculty till now as per my opinion.
Hostel: Yes, we have residential facilities in the campus and it is mandatory for all students to stay in hostel as per the college instructions mentioned. The hostel life will provide you with many memories. But as we see the facilities in the hostel I would say they need to be improvised more. Other hostels are comparatively better than the first year hostel. Drinking water quality should be improved and also coming to rooms, they need to be painted well and cleaned on frequent basis.
Overall: Overall experience was average. I have got some very good friends. Some teachers who motivate us even infrastructure was really nice. Hostel was also good.
Placement: Not every student of this institute gets placement. Only less numbers of student gets placed like 30%. BUT IF YOU WORK HARD SURELY YOU'LL GET THE PLACEMENT
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, the buildings are creatively made.Arena for sports was available.Libraries are available.WI services are available.Yeah , this institute infrastructure wise is good
Faculty: Faculties of this institute are really helping in nature and supportive at the same time. They are well qualified and motivates the students to do well in all the areas
Hostel: Hostel facility is good. Quality of food served by mess is average but we used to get varieties each day. Overall cleanliness and hygiene is maintained here
Overall: Overall the college is good.Having all basic amenities and facilities . however the location of college is not so good .It is located in outskirts of Jabalpur city
Placement: The placement at IIITDMJ is good for Cse and ece branches with ece having highest package of 82 lacs while very good placement percentage of cse Mechanical and sm even have good chances for placement in core and tech companies
Infrastructure: The campus of IIITDMJ was built well with LECTURE HALLS, STUDENTS ACTIVITY CENTRE ,PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE ETC.The college having Well managed Hostels and Central mess
