Overall: Hello, my name is Mayank Sharma, and I graduated from the Rohini campus of Jagannath Community College (JCC) in 2018. I was inspired by the prospect of leveraging the data to do predictive analytics and uncover rules and patterns due to the enormous quantity, complexity, and availability of data today. The fact that machine learning is a highly technical and quantitative field was another factor in my desire. The management program is designed to offer exposure to the various management streams as well as leadership experience. Digital technology appeared to be an additional layer to my education that allowed me to connect my experiences with the information era we are now living in. I needed to develop to get the most out of my curriculum. The completion of my Master’s at JCC after two years of rigorous and hard work has to be my fondest memory. It gave me a chance to reflect on what I had learned over the previous two years and see how crucial the course had been in forming my knowledge of data science. Working with my supervisors, coworkers, and partners to expand the machine learning models and enable knowledge discovery allowed me to further develop my data analytics, machine learning, and AI abilities. I was particularly intrigued by the idea and the logic of turning data—whether little or large—into knowledge to enable responsible decision-making.
