National Forensic Sciences University B.Tech+M.Tech : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: National Forensic Sciences University(NFSU), an institute of national importance provides education with practical skills and hands on experiences in the fields of technology, crime evidences, forensic tools(digital, criminal laws, biological, chemical, ballistics and many more). The main campus(HQ) is situated at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It has several branches situated in different parts the country. the extended campuses offers courses like bsc-msc forensic sciences, msc forensic sciences, b.tech-m.tech cse(cyber security), msc cyber security and other diploma courses which are assumed to be offered with much more courses as the HQ. The faculties and authorities are well trained and well experienced in their specific departments of teaching with real working experiences and good amount of skills. THE INDIAN SUPREME COURT has also decared about the acceptances of the evidences provided by NFSU in the court of law.

Placement: Placement in NFSU gandhinagar are well and high enough to fulfill the tier 1 colleges in India. There are very small ratio of unplaced students are observed. Placement packages are comparable to many of the IITs and higher than many of the NITs. Several teach comapnies and others(both small and big) higher students form NFSU.

Infrastructure: The instutuion was setup in the year 2010 and well developed and well equipped with cyber defence centre and lab. Class rooms are top rated in terms of the quality, infrastructure, chairs, tables, smart boards, acs, lights and fans etc. There is a big auditorium, within the building which is equipped with high quality and confortable chairs and stair case. It offers individual lab for every separate divisions of forensics and are which are equpped with all the necessary equipments.

Faculty: Fcaulties are well qualified and experienced in their specific departments and subjects. Majority of them have worked as a scientists or in a several post for the society to protect crimes, published books and articles ect.. Faculties experts and able to guide the students in their specific fields. They have good amount of knowloedge, skills, practical experiences. The authority also calls periodically the currently working experts and persons in different fields for expert sessions and worksops to enhance the skills and knowlegde of the studnets. This sometimes leads to bad effect due to less academic class for the students for those who are unable to complete syllabuses in time.

Hostel: Hostel facilites are good in NFSU gandhinagar, Delhi, Goa and some of the others campuses.But the fees are a little in the higher side. Hygenic is good. ACs present (higher fees) Individuals in a room? yes Enough rooms? Not exactly. priority wise. Can everyone stay? No. 1st priority to foreignes, then outside state students. Fee Structure is 50k for normal room and 70k for AC rooms which could be incremented in coming years.
