NITIE Mumbai was established as an autonomous body under the purview of the Ministry of Education (MoE) in 1963. IIM Mumbai admissions for 2023 are now open. CAT scores are mandatory for MBA admissions. IIM Mumbai PGDIE programme is the equivalent of an M.Tech degree, and PGDIM is the equivalent of an MBA degree. IIM Mumbai accepts GATE scores for admission to the PGDIE programme, whereas CAT scores are used to shortlist students for the PGDIM, PGDPM and PGDSM programme. The final selection for both IIM courses is based on the results of the GD and PI.
IIM Mumbai also provides admission to the PGDSM, PGDMM, PGDPM, FPM, and diploma programmes in addition to the flagship programmes. The IIM Mumbai admission test, writing skills test, past academic record, research presentation, and PI rounds are used to determine admission to the FPM programme.
