More diversity needed

Overall: I am a first-year M.Sc Physics student at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University but I completed my B.Sc Physics here itself before going for masters. Overall, I have had a good experience at the university. The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful, and the campus is well-maintained. However, there are a few things that could be improved. One of the biggest problems at the university is the lack of diversity. This can make it difficult to find people who share your interests and values as a Muslim student.

Placement: The placements are pretty good, I didnt attend the UG placements because I chose masters but a lot of my peers got impressive job offers. The placement cell has been a big help for those guys as they assisted students all the way till their joining. The major recruiters during my time were TCS, Apollo, MGM, etc.

Infrastructure: The university is located in a remote area. This can make it difficult to get to and from campus, especially if you do not have a car. The transport facilities are provided by the government which are not feasible for students travelling daily.

Faculty: The university is relatively new, so it is still developing its infrastructure and programs. The university is affiliated with the Shri Rawatpura Sarkar sect of Hinduism, so there is a strong religious presence on campus. The faculty seems dedicated to giving their best even if they dont have everything figured out yet.

Hostel: The hostel facility is available at Rs 60,000 per year including food for both genders. I would recommend Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University hostel to students who are looking for rooms at a good price and a quiet campus environment. However, students who are looking for a diverse group of friends and a lot of extracurricular activities may want to consider other schools.
