Hostel

There are different hostels in Sanskriti University for boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with some of the most modern facilities for students. The university hostels have air-conditioned rooms and metal detector machines at the entrance which assures top-class security for the students who come to study at Sanskriti University from different parts of India. Adding to the security features, the hostels are under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. The Sanskriti University hostels are well-maintained, clean and hygienic. It has dedicated study rooms and recreational spaces inside the hotels such as indoor games to give the residents a homely feeling and a suitable environment to study.

Library

The Library of Sanskriti University has a huge collection of books, research papers and journals from India and abroad. The library is maintained digitally with the help of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) software. The library resources of Sanskriti University consists of over 1 lakh books and regular subscriptions of 50 Indian and 25 Foreign Journals.

Sports Facilities

The campus of Sanskriti University has kept well-maintained facilities in the college for students who aspire for sports. The Sanskriti University playground holds regular matches of student for games like football, lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket etc. The grounds are regularly maintained for the convenience of sports activities for students. Annual sports events are organised on the campus every year to encourage the students into sports and fitness activities.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria of Sanskriti University is able to hold 200-300 people at once. This is a very popular place among the students to relax and hang out and for spending some leisure time. The university ensures that the cafeteria serves hygienic food and provides food and refreshments to students at a subsidised cost.

Computer Centre

The Sanskriti University computer center has approximately 50 computers that are connected to the internet via LAN and Wi-Fi. The computer center is set up to provide help to students in their academics from internet resources and others.

Apart from that, the university has facilities of medical rooms, conference hall, seminar halls, auditoriums, student societies for extracurricular activities etc.

Campus Safety

In order to ensure the safety of its students, faculty and staff, Sanskriti University has taken the following strict measures:

• Sanskriti campus including hostels is secured by high boundary wall with barbed wire to prevent unauthorized entries.
• The campus has only one entry gate manned 24x7 by armed security guards.
• Bags and belongings of the students and the visitors are checked manually by the guards.
• Metal detector is also provided at the entrance.
• Electronic register is maintained for all visitors and unknown entrants at the entry point. Details of visitors along with their identity proof and contact numbers are examined and recorded in the electronic register at the entrance.
• CCTV cameras are provided at strategic points throughout the campus.
• Canteen, mess, etc. are closely monitored for cleanliness, hygienic, etc. and necessary action is taken whenever required.
• Students are provided ID cards and displaying of such cards in the campus is compulsory.
• Special security arrangements are made at the girls’ hostel. No male is allowed to enter the girls’ hostel. Girl students are not allowed to leave/enter the hostel after specified hours.

Other Charges

• Caution Fee (one-time) in the first year of the programme INR 5000/-
• Examination Form Fees at the rate of INR 250/ INR 500 for programme having semester wise/ yearly wise exams.
• Hostel Security in the first year of the course 5000/- for AC Room & 2000/- for Non AC Room ( refundable on vacation the hostel on successful completion of the course).
• Laundry Charges (COMPULSORY) per annum (including GST) for up to 80 clothes per month excluding undergarments, socks, handkerchiefs & woolen 4500/-.
• Sports Charges+ GYM (COMPULSORY) for hostel student per annum INR 2,000/-
• Sanskriti Youth Club fee per annum INR 1,000/- for all student
• TBA Medical Insurance fee extra
• Alumni Association fee charged in the final year only - INR 1000/-

Note:

• Rooms in the hostel will be allotted on first-come-first-serve basis.
• UGC norms are applicable for fee refund.
• With respect to AC accommodation in the hostel, electricity consumption beyond specified limits is chargeable.
• Students staying back during vacations have to pay hostel rent @ INR 5,000/- per month (without Mess).
• The fee for hostel is subject to change as and when required

The University is providing hostel facilities to the students who join the University from different parts of the country and from overseas for pursuing their studies. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
