To be eligible for the Ph.D. program at Sir Padampat Singhania University Udaipur, applicants must possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates is 55%, while for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled/transgender candidates, it is 50%. Additionally, candidates must have cleared a national-level entrance examination, such as UGC-NET (including JRF)/CSIR-NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holders or have successfully completed an M.Phil. degree. Prior research experience or publications in reputed journals will be considered advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a comprehensive selection process, including a written test and an interview conducted by the university's doctoral committee.
