Overall: St.Josephs College for Women (under Kerala University) is one of the best college in Alappuzha, Kerala for students who want to pursue various Post Graduate and Under Graduate programmes like Home Science,History,Communicative English,Literature,Commerce,Chemistry,Zoology,Maths etc.The college also has a NAAC accreditation of A+.The exams are conducted on time according to the date and time provided by the university .There are various clubs in the college like debate club, literary club, theatre club,science club etc where students can join according to their intrest and can take part in the activities of the clubs which helps the students to find and expose their talents inside them.Along with that the college also has NCC and NSS units. The college also gives exposure and training to students who are interested in sports like football and rugby to perform in district and state level championship.Students receive the best quality of education from the college and overall the college provides a space for career and personal growth of the students.

Placement: There are placement cells in college for each department. It is really active and there are many students who arr getting placed in different places through it. There is an online group for the placement group in which all the job and internship opportunities are posted.

Infrastructure: The college is situated nearby the town.Overall the infrastructure of the college is really good.It has all the essential necessities that students need.The college has a really good library,canteen,hostel,classrooms,parking area,computer labs and other science labs etc.

Faculty: All the teaching faculties are well qualified and experienced in their own specific fields.They are really supportive and helping.Especially they help the weak students to study well and gives them a special support. They also supports other talents of the students and paves them opportunities to expose them.

Hostel: The hostel is inside the college campus and has a pretty good infrastructure .The hostel food provided is also good.The monthly hostel fee is really cheap somewhat around 5000.For those who don't wish to stay in college hostel there are plenty of hostels and pg's nearby outside the campus.
