Overall: The sv government polytechnic college is one of the most popular college in diploma education, as it is the second most rated college in andhra pradesh, it was good at providing a quality education for students through outcome based education scheme.

Placement: The state government of technical education has in collaboration with many companies in recent years for training the students through industrial training and by providing placements to them . Ex:Texas private limited

Infrastructure: There are three different buildings in college(dcme block constructed 800m away from main building, pharmacy block present infront of main building and main building it is the one in which all branches class rooms are present except for pharmacy and dcme) . the college also have workshops of different departments that are constructed seperately. There are more than 250 computers are available in the college for students use. Campus is filled with greenary.

Faculty: The teachers are skilled in teaching except the one who started teaching the subject from 1 to 2 years. Faculty will encourage the students who are good in learning new things. This college have some faculty who have more than 20 years of experience in teaching field.

Hostel: There are two hostels : One is boys hostel in this mobile phone are allowed and the strength of the hostel is more than 300 members. Second is for girls hostel in this mobile phone is not allowed in this upto 100 members are allowed to stay. In both hostels first year and second year students who are good at education also who are very poor are joined only, in this hostels the food is a little bit better than the pg hostels and the hostel fee is between 1500 to 3000 rupees
