Overall: UECU is an affordable engineering college with a fee of Rs. 24700, plus additional costs for student ID and exam forms. Scholarships are available for OBC and SC/ST students. The college has a retro vibe, with adequate facilities like smart boards and lab equipments. The faculty are qualified and experienced. Good relations with faculty can help in scoring well. Campus life is simple with no dress code. Classes run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with weekends off. The college also has a canteen. The city of Ujjain offers many co-curricular and academic opportunities for those interested. In summmary, UECU offers a simple, affordable, and effective education experience.
Placement: Though we do have many records of campus placements, but if you are looking for a college that serves you with great placements, then this might not be the one. Maximum package that I've heard of is just 7 lpa in ECE and CSE. But maximum students getting placed were from mechanical branch last year. I still recommend that you prefer off-campus placements over on-campus, if you are getting an admission in the college. Off campus placements give you better and acheivable opportunities.
Infrastructure: The UECU campus has a retro, 90s vibe with a simple and peaceful environment. It's equipped with adequate facilities like smart boards and lab equipments necessary for the curriculum. The campus is surrounded by a vast forest area, enhancing its natural beauty. There's a lake beside the building, and various animals like peacocks, squirrels and mongooses can be spotted. The college is spread over a large area, featuring a large playground. Despite not having the glitz of private colleges, it maintains its unique charm as a government institution. The location in Ujjain offers many travel opportunities for students. Overall, the infrastructure provides a conducive learning environment while allowing students to enjoy nature.
Hostel: The hostel is not open for boys as of now. However, the girls hostel is available for which I have no idea. Maybe in the future, hostel facility might open for boys too. Still, we do have good options for residence near the college.
