K
Not so great college

Overall: If you are not getting admission anywhere else you can consider this college. It has okeish infrastructure but classes are dirty and unclean most of the infrastructure is unused due to lack of students , and there are no digital boards or AC in classes computer labs are equipped though. The only benefit it has Is it is affiliated by AKTU which is a prominent university. Faculty is good in first year and the same faculty also takes some classes in second year also . Some faculties change while some faculties are different although the college is very lenient about attendence and stuff and the placement is decent companies do come but most of them are mass recruiter and will not give huge package.

Placement: If you are thinking of placement then this college might be not for you as only mass requiters come to this college and the placement cell is poorly managed. Even they take very few to no students.

Infrastructure: College has okeish infrastructure it has 3 building two blocks are for engineering and Pharma while another one is for MBA . MBA building is good while other 2 building is okeish . Classes do not have air conditioning or smart and digital boards and classes are dirty with old benches . Computer labs are fine but most systems are old . Canteen is nice and servers great good . There is one basketball court a mountain climber and 2 huge field.

Faculty: Faculties are good in first year and take classes timely while from second year some faculties are from first year and some are new and they take few classes and students are mostly absent and college has very few faculty.

Hostel: The hostel is taken by private contractors and is poorly managed by them the serve okey quality food but they provide very low quality service there is no AC and common bathroom for hostlers.

A
Summary over United College of Engineering and Research, a very academically focusing College

Overall: If you're a student driven by a thirst for academic knowledge and intellectual growth, this college might just be good for you. With its rigorous curriculum, and cutting-edge academic status , this college fosters a good learning environment. Professors are not good but average but actively engage with students, pushing them to think critically. However, if you're seeking a vibrant extracurricular scene bustling with festivals, tech events, and diverse social activities, your options might be limited. There are no clubs, the overall focus leans heavily towards academics. This might not be ideal for students who thrive on a lively campus atmosphere or those seeking specific extracurricular development in areas like coding or entrepreneurship.

Placement: Placement offers varies independently totally on the students but it actually offers a very mid and average placement, it has a 19LPA highest package, so I'll prefer to find jobs and internships risky off campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure falls somewhere in the middle ground, offering some aspects that shine and others that could use improvement. Here's a breakdown: Strengths: Functional classrooms: While not extravagant, classrooms are generally well-maintained, clean, and offer sufficient space for learning. Decent library facilities: The library holds a respectable collection of books and journals, providing adequate resources for most academic needs. Basic amenities: Essential facilities like reliable WiFi, clean restrooms, and accessible drinking water are available. Areas for Improvement: Outdated buildings: Some buildings may appear old and require modernization, affecting the overall aesthetic and user experience. Limited labs and equipment: Depending on your field of study, certain labs might lack the latest equipment or adequate resources for practical learning. Accessibility concerns: Not all buildings and facilities may be universally accessible, posing challenges for students with disabilities. Limited green spaces or recreational areas: The campus might lack dedicated parks, gardens, or recreational spaces for students to relax and unwind outside of academic settings.

Hostel: Living at the hostel offers a comfortable and convenient solution for student accommodation. Here's a breakdown of its key features: Strengths: Comfortable living: Rooms, while not luxurious, are generally clean, functional, and provide enough space for basic living needs. Convenient location: The hostel's proximity to academic buildings and campus amenities saves valuable time and energy. Supportive community: Residents often build strong friendships and find a sense of belonging within the hostel environment. Affordable option: Compared to off-campus housing, the hostel provides a cost-effective solution for many students. Areas for Improvement: Food quality: Unfortunately, the quality of food served at the hostel seems to be a major drawback. Consider mentioning specific areas where it falls short, like taste, variety, or hygiene. Limited amenities: Depending on your expectations, the hostel might lack certain amenities like laundry facilities, common recreation areas, or high-speed internet access. Maintenance concerns: Mention any specific maintenance issues you encountered, like cleanliness, electrical problems, or lack of repairs.
