Overall: College is overall decent but emerging. You get alot of time to work on yourself and skill you up. There is no academic pressure so much and location is preety good. There is no hostels So you have to take PG's or rooms outside. It makes this college expensive.
Placement: Placement in UIT Shimla are average the highest on campus package was like 8-10 lpa. The average package in the college lies between 3-4 lpa. But the offers are increasing every year
Infrastructure: There is only one building. There are 5 branches and it makes college campus small for peer group. Labs are not that great but there is no restriction or time limits for lab you can work in labs till 6 or 7 in evening till college is open
Faculty: Faculty is good, All the permanent staff have completed there PHD from premium institute of country like IITs, NITs, etc But there are also temporary staff that use to teach courses.
Hostel: There are no hostels for University Institute of Technology (UIT) formerly known as University Institute of information Technology (UIIT) Shimla. Hostels are only for master students
