- The selection of candidates for B.Tech at LPU is done through the CAT
- ABG will prepare a merit list of applicants based on their score or rank in the entrance examination and previous academic performance.
- Candidates must take part in the online counselling process to fill the option entry.
- The list of courses relevant to the qualification of the candidates will be displayed in the choice entry form. The candidates can fill the relevant choices or courses in the counselling process.
- For lateral entry admission to any B.Tech programme, candidates do not have to appear for CAT
- The candidate has to clear class 12th with an aggregate of at least 60 per cent marks.
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English have to be the compulsory subjects taken at the 10 + 2 level.
- For B.Tech in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Food Technology, and Biomedical Engineering, candidates with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology can apply.
