Jamia Hamdard admissions are made through the entrance exam or on merit based on degrees. Eligibility for International Students for UG Admission

All international students will be admitted through Jamia Hamdard's Foreign Students' Advisor Office. Students will normally be admitted at the start of the course. Students can also be admitted as transfer cases from other institutes in the middle of the course.  The "Association of Indian Universities" (AIU) recognises some Boards of Higher Education as equal, or international universities that have awarded degrees to suitable candidates. AIU will be consulted as necessary to verify the equivalency. If the University or Board is not on the list, the candidate must pay the required fee to AIU, receive, and submit a certificate to that effect at the address provided below. For such foreign nationals, submission of the Equivalency Certificate from AIU is required.

Selection based on entrance exam

• B.Tech admission is done via JEE Main.
•  B.Com and BBA seats are granted through CUET or merits in the qualifying exam.
• Jamia Hamdard direct admission to UG courses as per the merits in the previous exam. 
• Reservation Policy: According to the Delhi Government's Essentiality Certificate, 85% of MBBS seats are reserved for students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized school or institution in the NCT of Delhi. 50% of MBBS seats are allocated for the Muslim minority by birth. 50% of the seats in the UG Courses are reserved for Muslim minority

Eligibility for International Students for PG Admission

Jamia Hamdard University offers PG admission to international students as well. The eligibility requirement for admission to PG courses at Jamia Hamdard is the same as for other students. For example, to pursue a PG degree, candidates will need a bachelor’s degree. Qualified students from international institutions or Boards of Higher Education recognised as comparable by the Association of Indian Institutions (AIU) are eligible for admission. When necessary, a reference will be made to AIU to ensure equivalency. If the University/Board is not on the list, the candidate must obtain and submit a certificate to this effect from AIU (at the address provided below) after paying the required price. Foreign nationals must provide an Equivalence Certificate from the AIU.

• Candidates must keep track of Jamia Hamdard admission 2024 dates.
• MBA admissions are done through CMAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, GPAR, or ATMA. A GD-PI session will take place for the shortlisted candidates.
• The university conducts its entrance test for admission to the M.Tech (food technology) and M.A (human rights) courses.
• Reservation Policy: JH's reservation policy applies to all admissions excluding MBBS/MD/MS programs provided by HIMSR.
• 1. Indian Muslims will receive 50% of the total seats in all programs.
• 2. Open merit will fill 50% of all program places.

• Go to the university's official website, look for the 'Admission Portal’ and fill out the Jamia Hamdard application form 2024 along with supporting documents.
• Choose the course you wish to apply to. To continue, choose a course type from the drop-down menu.
• Indicate if you are an Indian national or a foreign / NRI / sponsored candidate.
