The largest and oldest set of institutions in Agra is known as the Agra Public set of Institutions (APGI), which was founded in 1965 by the late Shri P.L. Sharma at Agra Public School in Old Vijay Nagar 10, Agra. After that, Agra Public Group of Institutions was founded by Late Dr. Sadhna Sharma and Late Shri D.R. Chaturvedi, who also created four additional school units in Agra.
Agra Public Pharmacy College, originally Agra Public Institute of Tech. & Computer Education, opened its doors in 1999 on a site of 25 acres in Artoni-Agra. The Group has developed a prestigious name in the sphere of education under the capable leadership of Hon'ble Chairman Mr. M.C. Sharma and Vice-Chairman Mr. Abhinav Sharma. The mission of APGI is to address the growing need for experts in the business and computer sectors. To meet this need, we work to provide students the skills they need to be successful in their chosen jobs as managers and to provide them with a cultural experience that will help them settle in as contributing members of society.
The APGI Training & Placement Department has led attempts to attract businesses to the campus and persuade them to provide facilities to meet the needs of the students. It serves as a vital link between the stages of students' academic course completion and their entry into the job market, and it is essential in guiding and advising them as they pursue successful careers.
The Training and Placement Department creates and implements a range of programmes with the aim of preparing students for the demands of the workplace in order to further their careers and uphold the reputation of the parent institution. The department is adamant about giving students extensive training so they may succeed in the workforce and fulfil the expectations of a competitive job market.
