The following is the admissions procedure for B.Sc. Nursing course at Amala College of Nursing Thrissur:

  • The applicant must have completed class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in English, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as required subjects.
  • The applicant must have taken the National Eligibility Completion Entrance Examination (NEET UG), which was administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and passed it.
  • The applicant must submit an online application via the college website.
  • Along with the application form, the candidate must include the following supporting materials: copies of all academic transcripts, the NEET scorecard, two passport-sized photos, and a demand payment for Rs. 1000/- made out to Amala College of Nursing and payable at Thrissur. 

The candidates will be chosen based on how well they performed on the NEET. Based on the NEET results and the available seats, a merit list will be created. You can get the admission application form from the college website. The last day to submit an application is typically in May or June. Admission to the Amala College of Nursing B.Sc. Nursing programme is done on the basis of KEAM of merit of class 12 board exam result. The application form will get released in the month of May, 2017 (tentative).

Eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Nursing

50% marks in 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). The course is recognized by Government of Kerala, INC, KNC, KUHS.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted for admission on the basis of merit only.
