My college's Placements
By Jenita Canistina | BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) - 3 Continent | 2022

Placement: The placement cell provides training and guidance throughout the placement procedure in order to generate maximum job offers for the students. Aditya Birla, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank Airtel, American Express Bank, Deutsche Bank, Tata Motors, Maruti, Infosys, TCS are among frequent recruiters.

Faculty: The teachers and other faculty of our college are well qualified. The teachers are very cooperative with the studens and always ready to help the students.Faculty which also support the overall development of student.

Hostel: There are a total of 17 hostels out which 3 are girls' hostels. First year students have separate hostels with 4 occupancy rooms that are not very good infrastructure wise. The food is mediocre. The senior hostels have better infrastructure with triple, double and single occupancy rooms.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Overall: More than 20 students were placed this year in my course. I'm pursuing my second year. The minimum salary package offered was 6 LPA. One of the student get placed in Amazon with a salary package of 28 LPA. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good as it seems, there are not a lot of buildings. Air conditioner is available in the corridor and classrooms. The furniture and classrooms are not up to the mark. Wi-Fi does not work well in classrooms. A library and Amity University are great. Mess and canteen are not good. The food is also not good and it is expensive too. The Nescafe is way more expensive than the outside. There is no well-maintained ground for football and cricket, both shares one ground. The hostel is also not good as expected. Faculty: Teachers are not well-qualified. Some teachers don't speak English. If they try to speak, they speak with incorrect grammar. The course and curriculum are the same as other colleges. The Difficultly level of some exams is good but some are simple. Other: I have opted for B.Tech CSE because I like computers and technology from an early age. Our college should plan some trips to companies, to get some fresh environmental knowledge. It is already far away from the city. The vibes are totally like a village. There is no scope for an outing or fun in the college.

Overall: Well according to me the placements in my university I. e. Amity placements are quite good they bring companies to campus and after that it's upto student whether he/she is able to crack interviews or not. Most of the students from B.Tech CSE get placed in good companies. Infrastructure: Campus has Wi-Fi, labs are fully functional, and all the required equipments. Class are air conditioned. The central library is also good, it's having so many books. Hostel is good provides every facility curfew time is 9.30PM. Mess food is so. Not so good. Faculty: Faculty members are also good. They are qualified and helpful too. Talking about the semester exams, we get preparation breaks and in which one can prepare easily for exams. They are not tough at all. The course curriculum is also relevant and almost all the teachers help the students. Other: The fest Odyssey is the best in Amity. It is the main thing that attracts students. And they also conduct the sports and other activities on regular basis like Sangathan and Shaurya manthan.

Overall, I'd say it's an average college; great facilities are there, but the crowd is not good.

Overall: Currently, I'm studying here in 2nd year and as far as I know from seniors who got placed, firstly, there is no 100% placement. 60-70% of students get placed, and their average package is around 3-4 LPA. Faculty and other staff are good overall, a decent college. Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is nice; hostels are well maintained, and all facilities are available like hot water and all. The only thing I don't like is you can't carry your own kettle, and you can't take food inside the hostels. That's the main drawback; otherwise, many food stalls got open recently, and there are various choices for a student from where to eat. Faculty: All the faculty members are well-educated, having CA and CS degrees, and all have Ph.D. degrees. Though the teaching style of many faculty members is not up to that level, still, there are many good faculty members with a good teaching style. Some teachers basically come, open the projector, and start reading, whereas some teachers actually explain everything so that people from different backgrounds can easily understand. Other: The best thing about this course is, it's totally value for money because the fees they are charging are very economical and providing the best facilities like AC's in every classroom and regular events and clubs that provide us great opportunities. Also, if you have scored 90+ in your 12th class, then great scholarships are there.

Overall: The University focused on innovation, research, academic excellence and creativity to develop socially conscious leaders capable of addressing future challenges. The university also fosters a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion, where students can learn from each other and from the faculty of eminent scholars and practitioners

Placement: The top recruiters of Nursing in Ahmedabad are Aarohan Healthcare Services, Parikh Hospital, Apex Heart Institute, Orion Healthcare Solution, Healthledger Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., and Hemato Oncology Clinic

Infrastructure: university infrastructure would be spectacular. From labs, to hostels, to library, and cafeteria, the campus has almost everything that a modern-day student can ask for. The sporting facilities of the campus boasts a playground, swimming pool, Basketball, Volleyball and Badminton courts.

Faculty: faculties are one of the important part of a institute and I can say that this institute has one of the best faculties because they not only supports you but also motivate you each and every step of students life
