What sets this college apart is it's emphasis on practical work; every assignments and project felt like a real-world application that preparing us for the dynamic media industry.
Placement: The campus culture was remarkably liberal, fostering creativity and open dialogue. The PG diploma course itself meticulously crafted, covering wide range of media disciplines. The highlight undoubtedly was the stellar placement record. The college's strong industry connections translated into numerous opportunities, ensuring students seamlessly transitioned into rewarding media careers. Although the placement process is a little messy and needs better coordination to avoid same tests coinciding on the same day causing troubles for the students to focus on one.
Infrastructure: The have all the infrastructures be it from a well crafted news room with all the necessities , to audio recording rooms , all important softwares for broadcast batch, everything from drone to VR in their new media news room. Their canteen serves decent food and has both vegetarians and non vegetarians everyday. The library has all the best books and many first editions too. They provide all digital platforms subscription in the library, one is free to access them anytime. It's a small yet beautiful campus. It has a shuttle court and table tennis place. In addition to all these it has a big and beautiful lawn with benches. A gazebo where all students gather to ed, chill and work. Every room is air conditioned. Every classroom has ten computers each along with white board. There's a lecture hall where all common lectures and conducted. Every floor has a washroom for both sexes. There is a cooler as well in every floor.
Faculty: The roster of faculty, a blend of in house experts and distinguished gest lecturers elevated the learning experience. Industry experts, media personalities, scholars graced our classes, sharing invaluable sights. The fusion of academic prowess and real world experiences created a stimulating atmosphere for intellectual growth. The faculties of ACJ are amiable and approachable. Their constant support and enthusiasm helped us create amazing stories during our ten month period in Chennai. They guided us to do better every time.
Hostel: ACJ hostel provides everything necessary. The hostel is well kept with people cleaning your space every day without fail. There's aa washing machine, fridge, microwave, sino, water purifier in every floor in the girls hostel whereas in boys hostel there's only one washing machine, the rest same. Girls hostel is inside the campus whereas the boys hostel is our of the campus. The boys hostel has better facilities which includes heater as their building is new. The message food is same for both, curfew time is also same for all which is 11pm. Both the hostel warden's are sweet and nice, who doesn't invade your privacy unnecessarily but are firm about the rules. There's a TV in every floor. There will be four people in a room sharing one bathroom. Overall, it's a great hostel.
