With a sprawling campus in an area of more than 75 acres land, it is special both in terms of its physical beauty and infrastructure- a place though away from the world, yet a part of it. Education and research are the twin pillars of this institute and the ambiance is one in which new ideas and creativity can flourish. 

The Chairman is the visionary who believes that apart from giving education that is both novel and relevant, students should gain an exposure to national and international development. 

The Director General is the executive head of the Institute and also member of the Advisory Board. 

The advisory board comprises of eminent personalities from business industry and academia, which review and make suggestions on long term policies and short term goals. 

The academic structure of Axis Colleges exhibits diversity and depth. Axis Colleges is divided into five departments viz, AITM, AIPM, AIA, AIFT, AIHE. 

The Institute believes that apart from giving education which is both novel and relevant, students should also gain exposure to the concerns of the society and human value. Here students are encouraged to participate in Industrial programs and cultural workshops.

All hostels are located in the campus. The rooms of which are airy and well furnished. There are two hostels for  girls and six for boys. Together, they accommodate 1500 students approximately. Each hostel has a water  purifier, water cooler, a kit for indoor & outdoor games, and a separate mess. The kitchen focuses on  providing nutritious and hygienic food. Besides normal cooking methods they are also equipped with steam  cooking.
