BHU BDS Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) are as follows. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Additionally, candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the year of admission. Admission to the B.D.S. program at BHU is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
