BHU NIRF Ranking 2024 has been released by the Ministry of Education (MoE) at nirfindia.org. As per the ranking, BHU bagged positions in university, management, overall etc. categories. In the university category, it has secured 5th position with a score of 66.05. BHU NIRF Ranking is 4th in the agriculture and allied sectors. Five parameters - teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity and peer perception are taken into consideration for NIRF Ranking. Based on these parameters colleges are given a final score out of 100. BHU NIRF Ranking 2024 for different categories is tabled below.

In the last four years, BHU NIRF ranking score has improved for all categories but in terms of ranking it has slipped for all categories other than Dental. Mentioned below in table is category-wise Banaras Hindu University NIRF Ranking of last three years. 

BHU NIRF Ranking Trends - Overall (2021-2024)

BHU University NIRF Ranking in the Overall category has dipped from 10th in 2021 to 11th in 2024. However, the university NIRF score improved from 63.10 in 2021 to 67.56 in 2024.

In the University category, Banaras Hindu University Ranking NIRF declined from 3rd position in 2021 to 6th in 2022. In 2024, it bettered its position by one rank and moved up to 5th rank with a score of 66.05. 

BHU NIRF Ranking Trends - Dental (2021-2024)

In the last three years, BHU NIRF Ranking in Dental category has seen an improvement of four positions. In 2022, it was ranked at 21st and in 2023 it moved up to 18th position. Further in 2024, it moved up one position up to 17th spot. In 2021, the university failed to secure ranking in the Dental category. 

BHU NIRF Ranking Trends - Law (2021-2024)

BHU NIRF Ranking Law has remained between 20 and 25 positions. In 2021, it bagged 22nd position with a score of 47.38. Then in 2022, it slipped to 20th position. In 2023, it moved up two positions and secured 22nd rank with a score of 50.18. In 2024, It again slipped three positions to 25 spot. However, BHU NIRF score for law has improved from 50.18 in 2023 to 54.54 in 2024. 

BHU NIRF Ranking Trends - Management (2021-2024)

In the Management category, BHU secured 48th rank in 2024. It has shown an improvement of 8 position in 2024. It was placed at 47th position in 2021. In 2022, it slipped to 50th and further in 2023 it tumbled to 56th position.
